i would wait till the market changes before buying, depends where/what you are thiking of I suppose
but everyting is overvalued IMO and if the prices drop several k in 12/18 months you will be better off waiting.

    who said negative equity?

but if you have found the place of your dreams…

The Captain Pugwash Captain Pugwash cartoon, which originally ran on the BBC between 1958 and 1967, is widely believed to have featured characters with risqué maritime names such as Master Bates, Seaman Staines, and Roger the Cabin Boy.

    ^^ does not look shifty… :-)

sensationalist title caught my eye, don’t really know much about it apart from the fact the site had bad press when it was known as Windscale.

so off to wikkipedia as you do..

“Between 1950 and 2000 there were 21 serious incidents or accidents involving some off-site radiological releases that warranted a rating on the International Nuclear Event Scale, one at level 5, five at level 4 and fifteen at level 3. Additionally during the 1950s and 1960s there were protracted periods of known, deliberate, discharges to the atmosphere of plutonium and irradiated uranium oxide particulates.[49] These frequent incidents, together with the large 2005 Thorp plant leak which was not detected for nine months, have led some to doubt the effectiveness of the managerial processes and safety culture on the site over the years.”

so nowt to worry about here then

do it!! you can allways come back to UK it will still be here (just probably even worse than when you left)

Once I really got to know the lingo and made friends, the Spanish lifestyle really grew on me, just stay away from the big city and costas is my advice, it is a great place to live despite the corruption that has destroyed it in many ways,
people still know how to enjoy themselves there.

Some people have removed all the front mech and shifter parts but left the chainring

no problems with mud, you get the weight loss and if you need to you can shift the chain onto the small chinring and back manualy.

This kind of activity is not a solution to the problems facing us.

It is only a further waste and while it can be argued it does little damage it does damage.

we should be using less energy not more. blah blah blah..

the “driver” was clearly in the wrong, she should not have stopped and held up the traffic like that,

the “gentleman” on the bike should have set a good example by hopping onto the pavement, and pulling a one handed wheelie while giving the driver the finger.

its is almost guaranteed that many of those delayed drivers got really wound up causing them to drive like dicks and causing ever further road mayhem

any experienced road user could tell you this.

like everyone is saying start slow have fun and relax/flow ( so don’t think too much)

I started doing some non bike strength/flexibility exercises again, so when I do fall off next time I will hopefully be in better shape to take the hit and get bruised and grazed as opposed to broken. it gave me some confidence back and feels good too!

and I felt a lot better after I crashed again and the old collarbone held up :)

if you drive around expecting other drivers to be perfect you may get a surprise one day

it does not matter who is right or wrong in the end.

approaching a slip road on the inside lane, if it may seem necessary: slow down leave space for traffic to join and prepare to adjust speed or change lane.

approaching a slip road on the outside lane same.

    glad everyone made it home

    learn from it :)

nobody should have a dog without a licence and insurance, this would go a long way to improving public safely and animal welfare

the “owner” should not be allowed to keep animals by the sound of it.

and as for only attack bikes etc argument

luckily children dont cycle, just hope it does not have a problem with wheelchairs…

way to give something back to the biking community..
hope it goes to court and they get told how stupid they are, what a waste of time and money this is for something nobody cares about and why dont
they sack the whacko’s who decided that this is a good idea and advise them employ staff who have a bit of common sense. :)

i think multigrades like 5w30 for example relates to the the oils viscosity at different temperatures

this is different from 5Wt fork oil as this will never be subject to high temperatures as in an engine. it is a specific viscosity and affects how the damping will operate.

the oil in the lowers is sometimes just lubrication for the bushings and I suppose you can use any decent clean motor oil if this is the case.

however some forks use the damping oil for lubrication as well in which case I would suspect a suspension oil would give you more chance of finding the damping charecteristics you want.

agree with supporting those in need.

politicians, dictators whatever should go fight their own battles
and the gun sellers should find something useful to do.

Defy has no power button on front to wake so while mounted in a protective case I had to leave it on high brightness without the screen timeout, seemed a bit of a waste.

this handy little app will adust the display brightness with a touch slider on the screen, I found it easy to use while riding along :)
