losing the 11t and fitting an expander will make things heavier and you will not have a wider range, using a smaller front might be a better idea if you do not need the high gear 😉

edit currently testing a 10speed setup with a 40t hope/XT and 16T, prefer my home made 11-40 9 speed setup with the adaptor in terms of ratios and shifting, did spend some time faffing with it though TBH – but not much more than with the expander cog! 😆

also suffering from poor shifting, my hacked 11-40 9speed setup worked better 😕

done all the usual adjusting plus a little tinkering, in the end I filed the spacer down a wee bit and “adjusted” the teeth where the shift takes place, it did improve it, and it now shifts half the time as it should.

anyone got a 17t they want to get rid of? seem to have lost mine 😳

the party wall is unlikely to have any vents in it.

The chimney stack could be a source of the smell, the fireplace is often closed up and a vent may have been fitted.

The bowing of gable end walls can occur for various reasons, but the lime mortar and shallow footings combined with the clay soil and heavy trafic etc are contributors in London

on some end of terrace houses you may see the decorative patress plates in position.

you may find that there is a structural wall between the front and back of the house, the ground floor may be brick, then 5×2 in then 4×2 on the top floor, the joists will be less deep as well at the top of the building,

end of terrace may/should have the exposed wall tied into the rest of the structure to stop it bowing out as well.

no real DPC in the walls either, sometimes slate was used

deliberate target and murder of children. There are plenty of ‘terrorists’ in the world, but I can think of very few that have stooped to doing this

the USA in Hiroshima and Nagasaki for example.

XT will be OK, pop the seals off carefully and pack with grease when new to stop crap getting in them.

    possibly interesting reading? http://www.shimrestackor.com/index.htm

I would make some high flow pistons and try to find low friction seals and then experiment with shims on an existing unit.

it will work OK with a Sram 9 speed shifter but not a shimano

yes google image search will give you one point of veiw 🙂

Shame you are so negative about the area, it is very popular and for that reason it has all the things you seem to be looking for. The big sierrra Aitana mountain provides the area with a lovely microclimate, and there is lots of gentle riding all around. Altea/Albir/Calpe

Still there are many other nice places. 🙂

    Hahaha.

Have you been there? It has a lot to offer, do not be put off by the reputation of Benidorm the area is really quite beautiful and there are a lot of things to do.

Alfaz has a mainly Norwegian population and there is awsome biking hiking

but have you bought it twice then on ebay?
the PP transaction must say who it went to, how can they say they did not get it.
but it could be a bug/glitch in the system, stuff like that can happen.
probably best to state the case to PP again with as much detail as possible and ask them to look into it.

why is everyone so concerned about this?

if it does turn out to be a disaster we can just press a button to fix it.

we just need to print more money then we can fix anything.

I would use an abogado, they will advise you and help set everything up.
you can open a non resident account with a passport unless this has changed, but you will need an NIE soon and a few other standard documents for a multitude of things.

giving over power of attourney to somebody is a way around not being present if you have total faith in them.

Bit of a lottery really, but having worked for my fair share of “profesional” building companies I would say that they charge mcuh more and do not seem to be any better in general, though you do get to talk to someone.. rarely makes a difference.

as a one man band first thing I ask is are you in a hurry? if so I usually suggest they find someone else 😉

it is not going to last forever andlooks like it will make quite a mess, safe or otherwise.
it will do absoloutely nothing to reduce our increasing dependancy on non sustainable energy sources.

sounds like a good thing to me 🙂

I was just giving a general heads up on the drive to catch people who drift above the speed limit, getting points and fines is a pain..

and more importantly trying to point out why a seemingly trivial increase in speed makes a big difference.

    iffoverload

not really related to the OP directly,

but there is a scheme in place to reduce the amount of serious injury from RTA’s, its focus is on drivers who just creep over the limit, and educating them.

it is working, many more people are walking around today that would not have been before the enforcement and education of this large body of drivers, of course we all have done it sometime.

30 and 20 mph speed limits are going to be enforced rigidly in the future, but its easy to avoid getting pulled up. 😉

sorry for the dull vid about residual speed.

Hi sorry can’t say for sure, but most of the Rev/sektors parts are compatible. I think ther may be some parts frmon the 150mm may not fit the 140s ?

but I have a good dual air spring from a 150mm 2012 OEM rev that I converted to a coil that could do with a new home if you are looking BTW 🙂
