David Cameron was simply stupid and patriotic enough to believe that his countrymen had a higher IQ than they did in reality.

fair comment, but why the rush to crash on ahead at full speed without further consideration? especially considering the long term and unpredictable consequences of the decision.

    that is just plain stupid.

It is like one of those salesmen that make you sign to take advantage of the “exclusive time limited special offer” before you change your mind, even though it is non of those things..(and even with those you get a cooling off period)

Why is there such a rush to do this Brexit thing?

Everything suddenly changes in a few weeks, leave the EU and a new prime minister. Just like that!

Why is the perfectly reasonable idea of even reconsidering the decision in parliment rejected with shouts of “it is the the will of the people” etc..even though the country is pretty obviously evenly divided.

Why is a petition signed by millions is rejected and/or only passed for consideration in a manner that means it is pointless and powerless anyway?

Since when have referendums been a thing?
And why can’t we have another one if they are so good?

Should we be asking ourselves who will profit from this?

Seems like a monumental joke is being played on the whole county.

    no need for a referendum

irresponsible children should not be allowed fireworks.

all weapons are dumb and the people who think we need them are probably even dumber

everyone in the arms industry should just go home, do something constructive and let whatever lunatic despot or elected leader who thinks they have any power try to threaten people with whatever they can carry.

war games are stupid waste of life time and money.

my dad is bigger than your dad?…really? its time society grew up.

what about those crazy power mad loonies already out there bullying entire nations?

well maybe we should stop making and selling them weapons and ammunition?

AFAIK the chassis is the same, the only issues you can have is the spring length which is not a problem with the U-turn 😉 or needing a negative top out bumper spring if you cannot use the exixting one somehow.

I think there are some good treads on this on MTBR.

Take note that the spring will mark the inside of the stanction meaning that a air spring will probably leak if you try and reverse the procedure.

I think other EU members will be keen to take advantage of the opportunities left to them UK leaving and take what they can from the situation before the UK realizes what its lost.

Also foreign investors are probably lining up to pick anything worthwhile that is left of the ruined industry and workforce, they will likely be waiting till the country is on its knees, desperate and will gladly accept any offer on almost any terms.

no public healthcare and McAcadmeys ahoy?

yay for democracy freedom and getting England Back.

As if there never has been a political U-turns before…

it is pretty stupid to make a mistake and crash on regardless ecause someone might thnk you are a spineless moron…

..in fact anyone that does not admit to being a fool and making a complete pigs ear out of something and does not attempt to fix the situation is probably the biggest coward as well as a true fool.

    voting should be mandatory.
maybe less than 50% a jury should also decide the outcome of a trial because they all agree and outnumber the other views?

I don’t know about Greece, but the problem is Spain is widespread corruption.

The political, legal and financial system is a mess. The EU has given huge support to Spain. They do not enforce enough control on the country IMO. there are plenty of people there that are no more than criminals and should be made accountable for the mess they have made of things.

more power to the EU I say, many politicians just do nothing or even worse.. just look at what is happening here in the UK, this mess was not caused by the EU was it?

“83” dual carriageway – exactly where and what caught you ?

Not because of how it impacts your insurance – but those questions above relate to your motivation and attitude to this incident where you got caught.

Dual carriageways have laybys and junctions that are completely unlike motorways .
Sure if it was some automated speed related fine then do whatever suits you ,
otherwise please have a little think about how much of a hurry you are in.

this needs repeating I think. I used to fly down some dual carriageway I thought I knew well on a bike in the days you could get away with it

turns out that after looking at those roads at a more reasonable speed they have a lot more hazzards than I was aware of and I have come to the conclusion that speed limits are generally well thought out by people who might know a thing or two about accident hotspots etc.

getting points sucks… but driver training can save lives 🙂

that will give a more linear spring and should ramp up less quickly.

If the damping feels good now it is probably best to leave it.
otherwise they will increase the flow on HS compresssion and rebound too I suspect.

Most places that custom tune will know what to do it if you give them detalis of bike, rider and type of riding.

everything above, but practice is the key.

when you find a suitably challenging section, stop and session it.

try the tips mentioned, you will probably be riding it twice as fast and lot more comfortably after half an hour 🙂

the developer software might do the trick?

Only problem I have with woodburners it the smelly crap people put in them, treated wood or painted things and other rubbish.

love the smell of a fire in the countryside, does not really have a place in the city IMO

and there is a saying “with firewood you warm up twice” if you buy yours chopped up you are missing out 😉
