Have you tried adjusting the speed control located from fast to slow and back to fast to see if it makes any difference?

If there is any air in the system it would affect the speed, if you have a bleed kit I would try bleeding it as it is a simple process.

I also ride Llandegla, Cannock and local trails. I agree with the climbs great, I just need to get my fitness back and my drop the forks to 120mm to balance the bike a little better. It certainly flies over the rough stuff when you hammer it!

Weighing in at just under 25lbs when I brought it, i changed to a reverb seat post and the maxxis aspen 2.1 tyres and need to weigh it again to see the difference.

How often do you adjust your seat height when riding?

If you find it more comfortable with the seat raised up for climbs and the seat lowered out of the way for descents, then yes you need one.

I agree with the previous comments that the Dropper seat post is the best additions to the MTB in recent years.

I have had 2 reverbs due to a change in frame size. The first one had an issue with the air seal that was replaced under warrantee, the second has been without fault.

Have you checked the air pressure?

I have just received mine back after having the seals replaced. A faulty seal was causing the pressure to drop down to 20psi over a couple of days.

From memory, once the bolt is removed the shock should pull out of the link.

If you remove the front bolt from the frame and the rear bolt link, support the shock and give the link end a tap with a hammer. I tend to use a soft piece of wood as a drift to protect the shock. If you have an extra pair of hand this may be a task for them.

I have a sim only contract with T-Mobile with internet as a bolt on and never been charged extra. I find it handy when working away and being in a hotel that charges £15 a day for internet access!!

Zip ties and Gaffa tape. Good for fixing the bike or yourself!!

My Reverb is starting to play up, slow to return even though it is fully bleed and the saddle needs a nudge to get it to rise sometimes.
