You’ll still be unemployed whoever or however you buy the insurance. You could tell them your a teacher or policeman or anything you want but theres a good chance they wont pay up should you claim, better play it safe on that one.

If a bikes not in the shop ready to ride, why would you not just order it youself online.
Surely that’s the advantage of an Lbs.

I just fitted some tacx jobs £22 from the lbs probably less online. I needed to adjust the spacing of the offset holes but otherwise excellent.

Try the new blackburn flea, very small nice clip, no batteries.

No problem, you should be looking for a semi integrated headset sometimes called a zero stack. Theres probably a few brands out there I was recommended hope and its been good so far.

My LBS sourced and changed the frame bearings aand shock bushes. The bearings were done on warranty the bushes charged as a service item. I think you can get uprated “enduro” ones on ebay though.

    cheers

Yep, changed the headset for a hope sealed version maybe a month after purchase. You wont be covered under warranty, original ok as long as you dont ride the bike in the wet..or mud..or wash it or get it wet in anyway.

if you are going to ride the bike over winter to any serious degree you will be changing the rear bearings within the year too.

Otherwise a fantastic bike though so enjoy.

Jura watches? Most of them are on line outlets of bricks and mortar shops. No more risky than buying anything alse on line.

I always thought they started in 1994 just a guess though really. Lovely bike and still capable.

Seatpost on this one is 26.8

This thread is going around in circles.

Elf, Junkyard and Konabunny, I hope you dont mind me suggesting but you are being a bit boring, its only religion… its not real you know.

That is very funny, I'm probably an easy (1/2 bottle of wine) audience, but still very funny.

St Jean de monts , a bit further north but has 500k of trails . Should keep you going for while.

Ive had the original minewt for a couple of years, its good enough as a back up headlamp to get you home along twisty singletrack. Its also the best made light I have ever owned, much better quality than the hewn from a billet of alloy stuff in my opinion.

The new one is twice as powerful with no wires, sounds like a winner.

5,11 and ride a medium its 595mm ttube which is quite long for a medium. At 5'6'' a small may be best, the seat tubes dont go down all that much either so you may be best to try before you buy.

DNF and feeling no shame, 60 miles (63 by my comp) most of which must have been uphill. On another note anyone still to set of south should avoid the A1 around scotch corner 90 minutes to do mile two so far .

Seen both the 900 and 1400 they look well made especially the 1400. Only problem is you cant get from magicshine uk.

    Seems they are too popular.

    asian v locals

I'm assuming the 'Asians' are just temporary visitors, rather than 'locals' themselves….

Ah, i see sorry…residents of an asian heritage v everyone else conflicts.

If thats better for you, I'll be doing something more interesting whilst you lot do your stuff.

heard about the asian v locals conflicts

Wonder which "side " you heard it from?
Hope you dont have any trouble with the locals where you relocated too.

    ….wait …..wait …..wait….now all shout together…R

The comment was factual and only has some bias in your tiny mind.

"Pillars of the Earth"? or something was my last really good holiday book. Big book, historical novel type thing but very entertaining.

Just read the "escape artist" cycling based story which was good for a cycling story but probably only a plane journeys worth.

    Best advice I had was:

Use as bigger gear as possible
Use the natural berms of tree bases and similar.
Look where you want to go not at the obstacles
    Brake as little as possible.

I'll of which I found useful but mostly fail to achieve.

Search "Caledonian Challenge" in you tube and youll get plenty of videos. The event is a walk but it includes all the best bits of the highland way.

Brittany is ok but weather can be hit or miss, if you do stay there I would also recomend les menhirs or the grande metarie (not sure of that spelling).

Weve just come back but decided to go further south, I would really recommend st jean de monts, its a cyclist heaven with 500k of
trails, great beaches and pretty reliable weather, try one of the siblu sites, les maison or something similar.

    have a good un.

I'm sure they just wanted to congratulate your countrymen and their application of "merciful justice" and allowing the murderer of 270 people to walk free whilst laughing over his shoulder.

Well done chaps, leading the world in Justice and Banking now.

Jenga Poker on Facebook, no money involved excellent practice.

Poker is about probability, learn the hands and decide whether your hand is probably the highest, if its reasonable to believe you have the best hand then back it.

Always stick to the rules, gut instincts dont come into it.

I think this is pretty common, as above , put the cassette back on then knock it off from behind. The spacer seems to corrode onto the axle, give the axle a rub with wire wool and it will come off fine next time.
