Evoc bike bag is excellent, packed my bike away in 15 minites. I also have the crc bike bag, it was also good, but very basic, it feels like your bike makes up the bag rather then the bike being in the bag wih the evoc.

Synopsis? Has Sierra Cycling turned up yet?

Nah, it’s just 6 pages of the original post rehashed, with a couple of departures into pedantry and a TJ/Flashie slagathon in the middle. Don’t waste your time

Or look at the bottom of page four

Hope you have given SC an opportunity to respond to your disappointment before you came on here and slate them…I presume you’ve already taken it up with Sierra Cycling; it’d be interesting to hear their side.

It’s an honest review, most people would balance the mix of reviews and form their own opinion.

Not sure why I put myself through it. Excellent night though.

Jane I’m assuming you didn’t read the thread. If I was a regular customer I’d be expecting 10% discount anyway, though that’s another subject…..

I’ve been to all the wembley games so far, always a good day out. I played for my university, and now a local club too. I have sky so will just watch it on that, unfortunatly I’ll be in Africa for the superbowl, but might be able to find somewhere showing it.

I graduated 2 years ago from the University of Bath, also with a BEng in Civil Engineering.

Was offered 3 jobs at the time, and went with Balfour Beatty in the end, though just about to hand in my notice to travel through Africa.

Well when I’m back from my holiday I’m back on the iDiet, lost my way properly over the last month, luckly my exercise regiem has cancelled out much of the excess eating, at the moment just finding it really hard.

I’ve gone from 187.4 kg and 46% body fat to 155kg and 29% body fat.

I have a lean weight of 110kg so I want to be around 12% body fat so I would make that a target weight of 125kg.

I have 4 months to achive that when I get back from holiday next week…..

Handed in my resignation at my (old) job after they turned down my request for time off to go to NZ for the Lions tour.

They would never have accepted it…

Funny, I did hand in my notice today because my work wouldn’t allow me the leave to go to Africa

I’ve seen rambo types turn the dial to 10 and batter away with the cable going everywhere sweating loads but only covering 35 strokes per minute.

That shows your inexperience. You van easily achieve 1:30 500m splits at 30 strokes per minute with proper technique.

Nicolai are doing a new leccy bike, not sure if it will see production, though if you ask them nicely I’m sure they could knock one up.

I have a small tour of africa coming up, then hopefully of to whistler for next summer, then hopefully a ski season in 2012

Any word back from Nicolai, your probably looking about the £500 mark I would guess, though I might be pleasently surprised. My nicolai did 4 weeks in the alps, and about 30 days riding in the uk and the bearings didn’t show any wear at all. I’m guessing somewhere along the lines the preload became loose and they never bothered to maintain it.

Saints only about 40g heavier then xt, I run saint on all my nine speed bikes. They are stronger and more importantly the spring is stronger in the mech meaning a more positive shift. Great mech. If your 10spd then you will have to go for either the new ‘clutch’ xtr or whatever it’s called, or if that is too much money go for slx

Right, as above, 990 is xtr not lx, also, who the **** gives a shit…. some people prefer shimano some prefer sram

is that 68 on your speedo, or actual gps speed, if 68 on your speedo, thats more likly around 64mph and you won’t get a ticket.

If 68 mph then you still probably wont get a ticket.

Local camera on a dual carriageway by me is set at 85mph
