Thanks Tj and everyone else, we are in no rush to get rid off her, but I was fuming that after 6 months of taking my mum swimming she refused to on friday as she didn’t want the wheelchair in her new car (even the small non electric one).

It is indeed the ilf who fund part of it, we shall contact them as well as CIB but I just wanted a better picture before I started.

I think it’s the fact that she now refuses to take my mum out in her own car, that we shall use to get rid of her, as in the interview it was clearly stated that she would use her own car, and has done so for the last 3 years.

The reason she never signed the contract, was at that time we didn’t have an official contract because when we started we were rookies, and only bought the contract in about 2 years ago.

Flaperon: its the bit where you have recieved more then £1700, in this case they think you are a bisiness.

I had this problem and it was a simple matter of ringing them up to tell them that i was not a bisiness and they restored my account to normal working order

I am not calling it sacking, mearly no lonmger requiring her services, i.e. a notice period is 1 day

I plan on getting/researching info provided on here before we do anything, but i know that people on here know their stuff and that there are some experts on here to. But I am just trying to see if what I think is right first so I don’t start making wild assumptions….

I bought some for my handjob last year, good quality stuff easy to apply and about 1/2 the price of jra. Still going strong to

i’m sorting out the finalities, however, i am going to go for a custom geometry nicolai, with no stickers or defining feature, it will have a carbon gates drive and an alfine rear hub. the rest of the kit will be unknown quality kit.

i am 6ft 4 and bought an xl, however all my height is in my upper body, my inside leg is only 32 inches so i had the seatube shortened so i could get the clearence. the tt is quite long so if your averagely made, i.e. normal proportions then the lg will probably do if its for going downwards. if nothing suits you, you can get the geometry custom to suit you but it does cost you £275 however to get the seatube lowered only cost £75

    why?

yup, but they dont change the suspension ratio for you, by shoosing something like a am or an st you can alter the ratio and run a lighter spring, according to the tftuned spring calculator you can run a 500lb spring if you weigh 100kg 550lb for 110kg 600 for 120kg 650lb for 130kg etc….

i had a cove gspot which has the same leverage ratio as the heckler and i needed 1200lb which i couldnt get so i had to sell it

ton go with a nicolai, i’m 6ft 4 and well over 20stone, but my nicolai helius fr last year was really good, untill it got nicked. however just oredered a nicolai helius st, the main reason was that i could run a 2.5inch stroke shock and only have 160mm rear travel so you could have a low leverage ratio and run a light spring reducing pressure on the shock. nicolai have a few frames which you could do this. a helius st with a totem would be good, or mybe the am with a fox 36 would also be nice

my sanchez was amazing, I only rode it for 2 weeks before i sold it to pay for my nicolai, which again i instantly loved. I also fell in love with my friends chameleon, whereas my other bikes, like my handjob and stiffee and Gspot I had to learn to love. All are great bikes, but the first three stood out.

If I understand it rightly, isn’t Christs Hospital known for taking on bright pupils from troubled backgrounds, who’s parents can’t afford to send them to public school – or who’s parents aren’t around!?

Yup, your bang on, farther divorced and my mother is disabled, my parents or I personally didn’t pay a penny, only 8 people out of 850 actually paid the FULL school fees, it got me places I would never have gone otherwise and ofr that I am eternally greatfull.

Yup amazing film, saw it twice, really enjoyed it, fast pace, and like everyone previously has said very funny. I would deffinatly watch it.

State of play is another very good film, it has a good story which keeps you guessing, trimix pretty much summed it up.

Tonight I am going to watch angles and emons (i think) with tom hanks. Hopefully it will be good.

I am waiting until the new transformers comes out before I take a trip to the imax

lol, I hope leggyblonde is female, for no other reason then i don’t want to think of the male version…… If i live in crydon i shall live on my own, if i live in central london then i shall share with a friend, either way the rent will be he same, however if i live in central london then the bils are split between two so that is where savings come in. however uness i want to ride everyday i then have to pay to get to work, and having a quick look on the website an annual ticket costs 1300 which negates any saving I make by sharing the bills.

Sorry about my lack of replies, I have my last exam tomorrow so i thought I better do some work.
Momentum, don’t worry about it you were actually being helpful. It’s nice to know people opinions. I’m not to fussed if it is a bit rough, I can deal with that, however, I like outdoors, so I either want to be in the country or in the city for a bit of experience, so its either somewhere further south in the country or in London it self if I can find someone to live with.

Yes I am Nicolai rider and I’m aware of head to the hills, but couldn’t remember where they were based so thanks for the info. leggieblonde, any graduate jobs going at your place? I’m applying to Jacobs just round the corner from the station.

And yeah I’m interested in Horsham because I went to school at Christs Hospital which is just outside. Lets hope i get the job then I can start looking proper, might book a hotel or stay at a mates and explore all the areas properly.

Cheers guys all is usefull, like i said, i only have an interview so i am not counting my chickens before they hatch, but i just wanted to see if there was hope….. looks like i will be living in the city and commuting to croydon hopefully if i can persuade a couple of friends to move in togeather.

nope i want the job in crydon, i dont particulaly care for 2 years where i live

tbh, i only hope that i live there because it means i have a job in my degree area. it wasn’t my first choice, i applied to go to leeds, but that position is no longer avaliable. I currently live in Bath, which is where I go to uni, and previously lived on the coast in devon, but in the current economic climate a grad job which pays 25k a year, even if it is based in croydon, is to good an oppertunity for me to pass up. I might live in central london with a mate and commute, or somewhere near horsham and commute, the place of work is only 2 mins from the train station.
