some of the new sony ones also use drag and drop, i think it depends which one you buy. currently on apple and don't have a problem with itunes, but i prefer the sound of the sony. didnt like the creative one.

Nearly happened to me today, the left hand lane (lane 1) feeds off onto the motor way, then the centre lane moves across (lines and everything) to make the new lane 1, then lane three comes across to make the new centre lane. then hatching forms a new lane 3. This guy was in the centre lane and decided to stay in the centre lane ignoring the road markings. luckly there was hatching for me to drive onto, before I moved into the new centre lane, the guy then flashed his lights at me like I was wrong. My god i nearly got out of my car at the lights to bash some common sense into him.

everyone who posts anything about the bike they own says good things.

No they don't I had a Dialled Bikes Alpine, I thought it was rubbish, (no offence Mike). Got a Prince Albert now, and feels much better.

Well I am single, i generally push people away before forming a bond. Perhaps I need to let more people in and start enjoying life a nit more rather then looking to the future.

    Well I think santa may drop a few bits of;

    PA frame,
    King headset,
    Revelation forks,
    SLX cranks
    SLX brakes
Some new rims onto some wheels, (not sure how he is going to pull that one off)
And a new seatpost and saddle.

A good year all round but still left with a feeling of emptiness which I plan to get over in 2010

Finished my degree with a lower mark then I wanted but after the previous two years I'm surprised I have one at all.

Got 3 graduate job offers, took the one which was secure for 5 years

Moved to Maidstone and found a new bunch of awesome riding mates, but a broken foot as kept me off the bike since I came back from the alps, except for one or two exceptions

Looking forward to settling in Maidstone and getting promoted in 2009.

So not a satisfying year but a good year.

clarky, i went out there 2 years ago, excellent for the biking and great for the family. to this date its the best holiday i have been on. I stayed in a place called enzien with sarah and her husband, they we so nice they took me to a bar and bought drinks for me whilst i was waiting for my friends to come. they are based in sallback at the bottom of the xline which finishes at there front door. Was thinking about a week there myself in the summer.

i would, and do on 2 bikes, run an x4 front and x2 rear.

I have the transitions, i think they work well, I don't really notice them working until i get to the bottom of a run and wipe all the mud of them to find the lenses now have lots of light spots on them.

The only time they are a problem, is the first 5 secs when going into a wood until they lighten up, but you have the same problem if wearing normal glasses

I don't see why the op is compairing the ones with hope x2s? one is a lightweight xc brake and one is a heavier am-dh brake?

If you do go for the formulas, get ready to have a decent supply of pads. if i was still running my formula the ones I would be bankrupt by now as I was going through a set about every 20 hours riding.

on the other hand, i hated the formulas, i would have the hope tech x4s rather then the x2

    ianpinder

being 25st i hate formula thee one brakes, much prefer hope m4s and hope tech motos for the alps

Just get a nicolai, you wont break one of theres. But no, if you stay away from the super light stuff, and most carbon stuff you wont have a problem. Just be sensible.

damn you people, because of this thread i just bought a prince albert. luckly it was only 180 instad of a 400 cotic.

It is deffinatly the type of brakes, Last year i was in the alps with formula the ones. Went through a set of pads a day, (300 euros worth) went the year with hope motos, and have 1/2 used a set of pads with 3 weeks riding in the alps, and 2 days at cwm carn uplift. the brake pads in my hopes on my xc bike are 2 years old. though i did change my whole front brake after a year.

geetee, see mtbr, but post christmas – pre new year trip to cwm carn would be the perfect time to test your new bike!!!
