Actually 4130soul, not ever bike will take his weight. If he were to buy a 6inch trial bike with a 2 inch stroke shock, running a dhx rc4 it wouldn't take his weight because there is not a hard enough spring to get the required sag.

But hey what do I know…… You should listen to soul and buy any bike you want.

TBH with a leverage ratio of 3:1 then I would stay away from air shocks

right, well I think if you can re-use some partw on your old bike, you could afford a nicolai. 3 grand would get you a frame, fork shock, headset seatpost and pleanty more, then just use you drive train wheels and brakes from your old bike untill you can afford new stuff.

Nicolai make really strong bikes, you won't notice any flex and it won't brake. (if it does, then they fix it pretty much with no problem)

    wk 1 – 183.7kg
    wk 2 – 180.2kg

It was 177.6 kg after I had been to the gym, but that was unfair

Mudshark, my sister has just passed her test, and is now driving my old focus estate. she seems to be ok with the size as its easier to park then the hatch because the rear screen is the back of the car. If your worried, just get her two lessons with the aa because they use focuses.

The green is wrong on the hopes. however I don't want the hopes on my normal bike, as the pro11 sound bugs the **** out of me.

    18.5 st doesn't quite cover me. 🙄

And I can't take you seriously gw since you reccomended 5.1 😆 However I don't see why it would be a problem, why won't you touch them, I might get ck wheels from america, however the f and r hubs don't match and that bugs me

I waited 10 months for my Nicolai! And it was worth the wait.

10 months, mine was only 3, just about to order my 3rd so we will see how long that takes.

Yes there is a massive differece, I have 729s on one bike which are about 600-700g each the 819s on another which are about 460, the difference is quite noticable. however a 819 built well shohuld be strong enough, I have not bent one and I weigh in excess of 164kg

18Bikes, why don't you have the main prise for the biggest loser their choice of any bike at trade price if your suppliers don't go for it. That means we save lots but it cost you nothing
