Yup, a 2.3kg lose for me this week, but I won't be winning the biggest % loss of the week as that takes me down to 175.3kg, however its 1st 1/2 in 5 weeks which isn't to shabby, yesterday I swam 3k to

Depends, if your after your bike being fixed it's probably easier just to go through them, however if you want to sue them injuries then go through their insurers.

If something comes of this, i.e. you bad leg doesn't get better, then I don't know if you need a record of the accident.

Well, thanks to my friend coming back from hong kong and us going to tgis, as well as a big work lunch, and pancake day I have lost no weight this week, still at 177.5kg. Still at least it can only improve next week

If you want tune hubs speak to poshbikes, the guy on the end of the phone could not of been more helpfull. He was honest and frank, told me not to bother with the carbon one, it weighs about 15grams less than the standard but cost 50% as much. You can get tune king kong hubs, cx ray spoke flow wheels for 1450g which is dead light for such a strong wheel. I was going to buy them, untill i realised that they are louder then pro2 hubs.

By the way, i9 hubs come with normal spoke holes to. these are the ones I will be buying.

Sam42 is right, i think teh xtr shifters aer a massive step up from xt. TBH depends if your running 3 or 2 rings upfront. If your running 2 rings upfront my choice would be xtr shifters and a saint med cage rear mech.

    At the nmo, i'm running

    xtr shifters – saints
xtrr shifters – xtr rear mech
    xtr shifters – saint

Just came back in to this. First up, apologies for doubting IanPinder's use of units. Way to go BigMan, you're a firm favourite for the main prize if you keep that up and hit your target, and you'll deserve it too.

92kg for me this week – again. It's slow going at present, but 1/ I haven't actually put any back on since the start, and 2/ I'm 9lbs lighter than the start.

It gets frustrating at this stage and this is where I usually start to slip. My goal is to get down from 96 to about 86 so I've done 4 out of 10 but I need to be remotivated. Come on someone, kick me in the backside.

No worries, hopefully I'll hit my target, then you lot can all come jump out of a plane with me.

As for motivation, other people can not motivate you, you have to want to do it, then all your friends support just helps drive you. If you don't want to do it deep down then you will never achieve it.

I've tried to loose weight pleanty of times before and failed because I never felt that i really wanted to, even though I had lots of close friends helping me and supporting me.

This time round it seems easy, I have no one close to me supporting me as I've just moved to a new part of the country and just a silly blog on the net, but it doesn't seem to matter, I've just got my head in the right place

well if your doing the uplift, you will be in a minibus with around 17 other riders, so you won't really be alone. I've gone on my own a few times.

I'll be there on the 21st if you going that weekend
