I’m not perfect on it. Cheat about 3 meals a week rather then 1 whole day as I’m generally unorganised and get caught out at work

oldfart, the current price list is only valid until the end of march. i new set of devilles are due to be released, same internals, except either 140mm or 170mm, no more 160, and a revised axle design. the price will increase with the new version apparently

    This thread makes me laugh.

I ride a couple nice bikes. 2 nicolais, and a ibis tranny. The bike inride the most though is my boardman. I would not hesitate recommending a boardman. They are good bikes full stop, the fact that they are a good bit less then the competition makes them outstanding.

On the other hand would I recommend halfords? That’s different question.

With the exception of the credit cards and mobile phones your pretty uch wrong. If you are going bankrupt you probably dont want an overdraft if you already have a mobile phone then just upgrade that. they dont credit check you for upgrades. No need for pre pay fuel either.

There was a very good thread on this about a month ago, it will be in my history but I’m in my iPhone so won’t find it as it’s a pain in the arse. However if you have no assets, no job come September, and you rent then it’s painless in the main part.

You will need a garrentor if you go through letting agents, though if you had any ccjs then you probably needed one before

You can get zoom lenses, which I’d take. I want more then a compact though. We shall see, I’m still looking and have not set a budget yet.

Not really, whilst I’m sure they are strong enough, I’m not going to spend £500 on some carbon cranks with a limited warrantee. At least I know xtr are strong enough.

My company only makes about 3% tescos makes about 4% so I think just over 10% is adequate considering they buy in bulk and sell cheap….

I’m going biking through Africa and was looking at the sony nex range. I’m tempted to go ahead and purchase one. With the small lense it really is tiny. The only thing that’s bothers me is the flash attachments.

I got stung for £200, Crc will have to offer some pretty good deals to get me using them again. Used to get all my small bits from them if I needed them
For the weekend. But recently I’ve been using Biketart for all my small bits and it’s always been delivered next day. Generally cheaper then crc too.

Nice, another Nicolai owner, I’m on my forth, and I have to say they are brilliant.

I, like geetee have an AM and it’s the best bike I own, just two upgrades left then it will be perfect. Strong, light (ish), feels indestructable, fast etc……

Thinking of getting a fifth, something like an argon cc 29er….

    Enjoy it.

So rather then the gov get 3.6 billion in tax you would want them to get nothing…. for what reason jealousy?

    ianpinder

Or what could happen, is they get paid the 7.2 billion, the gov takes 50% of that.

    OR….

The gov stop bonuses, the banks and their bankers sod of to another country and the gov get nothing.

My mum spent a month out there whilst it was all going down, no trouble at all, all the egyptians were begging here to tell her friends that it’s safe, alot of the hotels are closed becaause there are not enough tourists.

I would go, i’m thinking of going over easter because it’s nice and cheap. Still can not go in the water though. However scuba diving is avaliable because apparently sharks only go for people snorkling

I’m well up for a curry night in Barnsley. Dads in horbury. Think I stand a pretty good chance of completing this challenge. I know another guy who lives there too, think he would have a good shot at it too!

sorry, should of made it clear above, like it has been said above, the saw rotors are too thin, and have a narrower braking surface for the v2 calliper, and the vented rotors don’t come in 183mm size. in england, standard rotors are fine for uk riding. if your changing the back, might as well change the front too.

There might be a special, or a best bits off….. the first christmas special wasn’t incuded in the series either.

    ianpinder

yes, you can, however, you will have to run the standered v2 rotor (i.e. not the saw one, or the vented ones)

Isn’t 5th Gear for car anoraks? Or has that been pulled because nobody watched it?

No it’s turned into a budget copycat of top gear without the originality, but with the ad breaks

my mono m4s were great, however, you can not buy them anymore…. hence ignore the two posts above (sorry) unless buying a pair second hand.

The tech m4s are no so great power wise.
