The new xtr with the ice rotors, if not then the saints.

IMO, as nice as the hopes are they just don’t stand up too well to the heat, also they are not overly powerfull

It’s fun, and to echo above simon the guy who runs it really is a nice bloke. I rocked up one day at about 11:30 stayed until 2 got about 9 runs only wanted to charge me £10!!

Agree with dingabell on the drop, much steeper then it looks.

It’s not difficult, however it’s quite a drop if you go launching off it! I’ve seen people just roll off it at walking pace and been fine.

If your near Surrey or London you can swing a leg over mine. It’s xl though with a medium seat tube. Good for people over 5.10

Nothing to add to what chainline has said. I wouldn’t sell mine for anything and that’s saying something.

Well rightly or wrongly I’ve decided against the roholf, yes, it’s less likely to go wrong, however if it does your screwed.

The frame is on it’s way should be here within a month. I’m not sure I’ve made the right decision, however I love the frame and it fits me perfectly. If it turns out to be too stiff or too uncomfortable over serious distances then I’ll just get another.

my focus says 64 combined, i’m lucky is i get high 40s, so for a larger car with a more powerfull engine i’d say a real world 40 is ok.

    Ok at 6ft 4,

astra, but only the new shape.
    focus (any)
A3 is tiny nowhere to put my knees, and since they are not detachable…..I didn’t fit,
bmw 1 series large in the front, couldn’t have the chair all the way back as i couldn’t reach the pedals. However with me driving i need to treat it as a 3 series.
    standard mini?
As forvans, both the connect and a caddie are a touch small. the combo I can drive, but is niether comfortable or reccomended. the astra van is also not massive, and there is no new shape one.
    New shape golf?

I had a mondeo estate, two bikes (both xl) slide in the back with no disassembly. Also go four bikes and a 3 weeks worth of kit down to the alps with 3 people in the car

Once you have enough money that you no longer worry about how your going to pay the next bill, then more money does not equal more happiness. Unless your shallow

    Entonox,

My 2011 floats were like that. When I stripped them down (4 rides old) there was no oil inside of them put some oil in then and they were much much better. Still bought devilles though.

Tolls are around £70 each way.

Ferry about £100 unless you find a special deal with tescos or something like that (always around)

    1900 miles at 40mpg at £6 a gallon is around £300

    so £470 in total

Forgot to say, triangle, spare bulbs, hi viz – circa £30 so would be around £500

The dw link is pretty effective on a locked out rp23, more supple still when unlocked.

I swapped my 2011 floats for bos devilles. IMO night and day difference. Search my history for a recent thread on the subject. Bos are marginally cheaper too

Oh no, your just forgetting 3 people!!!

I’ve owned 2011 floats borne the 180mm fit and 160mm fit rc2 ……. And whilst better then my 2010 floats the devilles are much much better and I agree with the messiah about how they ride. (also on an am) I have my vipr at home just waiting for my mounting hardware to come in.

I found the 2011 floats fine on the bigger impacts but when cornering or on steep downs they would wallow through their midstroke making the bike unbalanced. Whilst there was an improvement in the small bump sensitivity between the fox models the deville somehow have almost coil levels of plushness to the point I think the only dorks which I’ve tried that are better were coil totems.

I have driven most of the pick ups. The micest was the vw pick up, very nicely put togeather and large inside.

Project that’s harsh. He has a fuel card and van for personal use, personal use is just that. Driving to the alps on holiday is personal use.

They will provide the legal documents for you to take it abroad.

Personal fuel is personal fuel, it’s one of the benefits. However my friends fuel card does not work abroad, so fill up in dover and return home empty.

You’ll need to speak to fleet to get relevant paper work, you get a temporary v5 and insurance papers, I had to pay £11 for mine, I drovero the alps 3 times in the last 6 months and they can not say anything. My company also provided European breakdown, and I still get a hire car out there if anything goes wrong.

Sweet, so the fact that i can do 3 x 15 sets of get ups with 24kg is pretty good then.

Taz, if you rode both blindfolded I think you would be hard pushed to tell the difference. The devilles sit quite high in the travel, so small but sensitivity is bob on, however unlike other air forks they don’t wallow through the mid stroke so feel really planted at the same time.

Random Jeremy biketart have a pair of tapered 170mm devilles in stock.

Whilst they are not travel adjustable Bos divilles are simply the best trail fork you can get, my friend who believes travel adjust is the future rode mine and decided that he could live without travel adjust because they are that good!

Over the forks you specified I’d get the talas. The instant drop is better then u turn and two step lyrics were plAuged with problems.

I completed couch to 5k, however there is now a couch to 10k which is probbaly better for you. Iam due to complete couch to 10 the first week of august. I then have 5 weeks after that untill my first half marathon.

Unlike previous attempts, I have not suffered any shin splints, sore knees or anything like that since starting.
