Second hand nicolai, I’m 25 stone and mine is fine. Saying that so is my tranny. The only thing you need to look out for us that the leverage ratio is low enough to allow you to run correct pressures in the shock.

I wouldn’t worry about which frame. Your not that heavy

my 2011 forks came with little too no oil in, the first thing i do with new fork forks, is strip the down and put the recommended amount of oil in them

There was a massive difference between the different 2011 forks, my 831s were a totally different colour to my 36 floats. So yes colour differences between the years would be probable

I have both the pros and the tour headphones. I bought both sets in duty free, one pair on the way to America and they were so good (for my tastes) that I bought the pros on the way back.

The studio beats feel flimsy due to the plastic however they sound ok. I’m guessing that if they are for you son you dont really care what they sound like.

Just get the cheap pair, the studios have the active noise cancelling which is why they are more. Your son will oy want them for the name.

Further to my list, id like to remove the lap spicey, as it’s not frame only, but add the transition covert.

    I would look at

    Cove gspot (the new one)
Chumba hx2 or what ever it’s called
    Orange alpine
    Lap spicey
    Ibis mojo hd
Wait a bit for the intense carbide
    Nicolai helius am
    Nukeproof mega
    Santa cruz carbon nomad

Because they are nothing like an f1 car, thus showing how little you know. Especially about the gearing. Most modern supercars are so tractable you can drive everywhere in 3rd.

Just out of interest, what’s the general spec of components people sell, just cheap stuff or expensive stuff?

I’m not sure he has seen this, but speak to geetee about what he did with his am. He basically turned his am into an ac.

    Also look on here…

There are a few owners around, many post on here too. Probably just missed the thread

Still speak to nicolai and see what they can do. I’m sure they will sort you out something though if it is down toack of maintenance then they might charge you a bit. Just to give you an idea, stripping a bike down, sorting out an issues with the frame, new bearings and a new coat of paint costs £400 but then the frame is basically as new then.

Your screwed on the front forks, but as others have said, nicolai provide a five year transferable warrantee. Have you actually spoken to them before posting on here? It’s one of the first ones I have seen which is broken.

I live in Maidstone, I’ll go and collect it for you and then you can send me the money and I’ll post it up to you.

I might have to agree with tj here. Raise your cockpit. Also do some core exercises, I’m 150kg and don’t get lower back pain, even on my 50mile road rides

Duane get the flows, stronger then the 719s but more importantly they are wider.

My formula the ones were proper pants. If you get a nice reliable pair then they seem ok. But mine over heated within 5 minutes went through brake pads at the same rate I go through cake, pulled to the bar, had no feel and were not that powerful.

Don’t buy m4s if buy v2 motos for the (basically) same weight!

    As for the 2012 xt,

If they are anything like the 2011 xtr, (I suspect exactly the same) then mine are so powerful I’m almost scared to touch them after I’ve been riding my other bikes with oth brakes. (except my v2s) awesome brakes.

I’ve owned all the brakes I’ve commented on too.

Is this still at muddock? I’ll be in bath for the first time in a couple of years and have a box of bits to get rid off.

Mr smith is correct. Apple warrantee is worldwide for their mobile equipment as for the power, just clip out the American plug and clip in the uk plug.

    Hora,

The hope tech v2s have their own rotor, this is because the piston is 25mm which is wider then tech m4 formula r1 etc.

On my dh bike, I run the tech v2 with vented rotors, they are rediculously powerfull and i have no issues with brake fade, and I’m 50% heavier then you. They are heavy though and the xtr brakes on my tranny stop me just as quick and are about 50% of the weight.

Saying that, the tech v2s are 3 years old, (whenever they bought out the tech levers) I’ve spent 3 weeks in the alps on them and many many uplift and push up dh day on them. THey have never been bled, and the feel has always been consistant. I’m also still on the same set of pads.

If you don’t mind the weight then get the v2 over the saints, if you do mind the weight get the xtrs.
