i like the way you can sometimes get called a racist if you don’t like someone and they’ve got something to prove ( probably because they don’t like you either to be fair, which is fair enough really – the not liking you part) Also in my observations whilst commuting such racism issues are not just a one way street, although they are usually presented in such a way ( not anything to do with me should I add)

had one come loose once on a rear luckily (mtb) Wasn’t square in the dropouts. Luckily still stayed in place somehow. Was a cheap n nasty non branded oem one, although i prolly hadn’t secured properly too. Shimano are great imho. I love maxles too. Always check mine after locking it up too (from experience)

OP I think i’d get some decent qr’s or a nut and bolt affair of some kind although i haven’t got a clue about road bikes. I love bmx axles 🙂

I once had a bizzare dream where I had a long bmx ride and kept doing 360’s of off things. I actually felt like I was in control of the bike and had to think about the riding rather than it just happening.

it could well be just to cover any admin processing work by your company as a result of the incident and dealing with the other insurance company. ie claim not your fault equals a few phones calls and a form and any additional dispute resolution etc by your company and not based on driver risk at all but on the risk of time spent with the potential time spent being charged as an increased premium for a period.

there could be anything in that harris build, bearing in mind there’s vids on youtube of a Harris driven drag strip Mk1. No expert but it wouldn’t surprise me if the one featured was running maybe 250bhp+ and/or loads of torque as the speed difference was massive, yet I cannot see the car itself being lightened much although i am probably wrong. The back seat’s in my Mk1 weighed next to nothing – was sound deadening to take out. You can also get some panels such as the bonnet/boot/door skins/boot skins etc in alloy, which would make a difference.

cilet bang? Not sure if it would damage the fabric but it’s powerful stuff.

I run A2Z pads on my OEM deore ( the little spade shaped ones ) and recon theirs about a about 35% improvement over standard.Much more bite and power.I drag them lots to build up heat when bedding in. Their cheap too.

My very uniformed yet very basic observed perception is – ( possibly )

It appears some values in religon can be very positive, which maybe what Mr Cameron was portraying and maybe can be applied laterally and collectively across a variety of religions for the good of humanity.

However as a bystander who observes, sometimes I hardly feel compelled to get involved when it can simply appear often to be a set of rules which vary – within the same religon and within different religons creating mass conflict and war. No compromise – it’s written and therefore it’s true and absolute – although this seems to then vary even within the same groups yet alone different groups. Very confusing for my poor uniformed little brain.

If people have a belief and it makes them a good person ( which I guess is subjective) then why not?

You also had the RS Mk1’s and the twin cam.

your new car looks more like an old classic car version of a TVR than your old retro TVR. 🙂

In a good way. That back end looks fantastic esp with all the fittings.

wow. That’s amazing. Really like it. Looks fantastic in black.Much prefer it to red. That silver rim makes it look so different in a good way, much more than I thought. A real classic car. Love the chrome touches. Well done. Treat yourself to a cup of a tea.

had something sort of similar with an air shock. The movement had seized and the shock was moving by the shim rotating against the frame. Luckily hadn’t caused damage though. Cannot remember everything but have a look at uprated bushings and tft / goldtec maybe as i think they avoid this issue. Not sure how to resolve your issue but they’d probably know.

    sunn

I wouldn’t let the discounting put you off. It’s just they do not have such a presence in the UK, and are much more popular/recognised in europe..again from what I gather.

no experience apart from owning an old sunn, but from what I gather the brand is still decent and sorted.

If it’s good enough for Anne Caro Chausson..You’d also get a decent spec I guess. Have you seen that freeride HT also for sale with dropper … lush.

with regard to chrome bits – nothing big, just small to catch the eye. Maybe on the door seal low down, just in front of the rear wheel.

may also sound naff, but a few stick on chrome effect badges, or detailing such as fake studs on the side would add to the period effect,if not overdone – although it may detract from the original version. Should image you can get things somewhere. It may also only look good as icing on the cake , if other chrome work is done.

I think if I was keeping it as it is,( which is what i’d prolly do) I would just add a chrome effect add on window rubber finish and a couple of studs or something. A very thin outer rim of chrome finish ( if you can get it )around the lights may also add to the effect and be easy to do if it bends. Then you have a splattering of chrome all over, – the outer rims, the head cages, the wing mirrors, the windows, the mirrors. This in effect can be seen on the original – little bits of chrome detailing ,badge, studs, front light fixings, etc etc

i would personally consider getting the rims chromed / silver too. Having said that I do like them as they are too. I maybe also try and get a chromed effect on the window rubber.Should imagine you could get some kind of chrome stick on finisher maybe. Again looks good as it is. Although that’s personal opinion. Also chromed / sliver spoked rims maybe a nightmare to keep clean, as brake dust may build up quickly – maybe. I saw an e type the other day and loved all the chrome on it. Think chrome really makes cars look period.

Having said all that I also really like it as it is 🙂

guess it leads to an experience. Buy train pass – go travelling – buy a kite – get some fresh air and learn something new etc etc. Suppose it depends if you buy experiences / facilities (eg a train ticket and rock concert ticket)or a material object or – one that leads to another.
