interesting program all the same. Not defending him at all and yes the programme was shocking. But surely he did do an awful lot of good for cancer victims. How many others have done that? He didn’t have to do that did he? He could have just carried on lying and cheating and being nasty alone.

what I found quite sad was that after he overcame cancer no team would take him on.

get a little getto type urban bike / maybe a singlespeed rigid or something similar for local riding from the doorstep and make some interesting urban/local offroad riding routes up. Go and explore locally.

there was a section i think just before i posted with cyclist’s trying their bikes offroad and staged flying dismounts into hedges lol and rolls back down hills etc .. think it was prolly a public information safety type clip. Probably on iplayer. The early stages of the program were at times more about 1940’s? cycling and adverts advising of wobbly riding etc.clips of production lines… cycle promotion..and kids zooming around on tricycles.

i’ve had similar and try to carry two pumps now.

ride the jump gulley (just the table tops) at a reasonable pace,and completely relax, go floppy, and get a feel for what the bike underneath wants to do. Good starting point ( although I am no expert)ohh and do not relax your grip too much.

what bike? have a read up on the x fusion, probably a good bit of kit anyway.

i think the front end is probably the first most important place to check.

probably because there is not a freeride type fat made yet,which I guess the magazine would like, only xc type fats.

could it be that there’s no gearbox oil in it for some reason? And therefore not working correctly and making strange noises probably through some ( slightly worn) parts moving without lube. Should be easy to check by draining / or not and replacing probably from the engine bay.

if you want new and cannot find secondhand i think these are a bit of a bargain. And yes they do retail at double the price elsewhere, even ‘value’ retailers, think its a fiver for a discount card
