or have a limited public transport system in maybe more remote areas, do not own a car and would like to cover larger distances. Clothing is so good nowadays too.

however there may be people who do not feel confident with the perceived fitness required for a reasonable commute.

more affordable and developed city electric bikes maybe, appealing to new commuters.

with ( joking ) drive/ride through showers and dryers.

and as I have no experience i am not even sure enduro’s are considered heavy.Maybe they are light for their purpose – esp compared to maybe the average full on DH bikes

I guess with XC type bikes if they are actually considered heavy then maybe it’s the additional material in larger wheels, forks that then have a larger gyroscopic effect to contend with, thus more strengthening or maybe at certain price points more material and maybe larger dimensioned , more highly strengthened frames, which again might add a bit of weight. However the overall result may actually possibly be a faster, more sure footed and enjoyable bike..with capacity to lighten if required.

prolly a lot of it is down to personal preference. I guess at alot of these enduro bikes benefit from clever geometry , shocks and design, rather than just the plain old weight factor – esp when climbing is concerned. Your prolly tired when you climb and just want something that tracks well and is solid and then also holds it’s line on the downs. Although again difference riders may have different preferences and i guess there’s nothing stopping people lightning bikes, should they wish too. Although i have no experience, just thoughts.

I should add that the Volvo did look very nice, as do Audi’s, which was the main reason I looked at it.

I saw a small practical looking Volvo today that looked like an Audi if that’s any help – although probably not..

nope, USB output disables whilst pc not powered although there maybe in Win7 a way to change this, maybe..but probably not

Would I be right in saying 240 AC to low voltages and low USB current is likely to be pretty inefficent as there’s so much difference? therefore if the pc is on already the USB direct may be the way to go..

    maybe

would this still be fine for heavy duty double wall rims – ( two sections of rim material per hole ). Think i’m going to do mine too.

thanks. Are they actually meant to help the foot pull and push like spd’s? or just to prevent the foot moving off the pedal?

i did aprox 25 miles on a crap heavy bmx and felt weak for 2 days after. Reasons – didn’t take my protein. Had a pint mixed up and felt strong and good a couple of hours later. So in this case it worked wonders.Thing is I had some rice and chicken after the ride. Plus I find it stops you eating loads after a ride ( just don’t take too much )

flaperon i had this with another company – you could probably make some calls and determine who signed for it, or maybe ask to be put in contact with the driver etc.

no specific experience but maybe try some sugru? I am very pleased with the results I have achieved with other items. There’s a technical data pdf on their website that may in this case help determine suitability.

what I was saying is that’s it’s maybe possible the company may be able to legally claim ( through their / others insurance maybe ) for goods that are sent back by customers that are soiled or stretched etc when they have not been able to settle this with the customer for some reason, that’s all. I am not suggesting that anyone rips anyone off etc..And this is just a guess.

anyway it’s obvious some are getting wound up be all of this.

if an online bike shop sent me two of something by mistake i’d send one item straight back no question. I think this is totally different and sometimes websites offer crazy prices if you spend some money with them, to attract attention and loyalty and shift old stock that just isn’t selling ( probably to make room for new stock) I might do what someone above mentioned – send them both back and demand a refund and forget about them.- although the company would now have two worn jumpers and be down £60. However might be worth phoning them and see how you are treated and then maybe sent it back ( or not )

reviewed the footage again and yes I think speed played a significant part in the accident. ( esp. from the cars POV ) – i am not a biker though. When the car first started to turn he was quite some distance away and didn’t really have any options at that speed. (imho) seeing an object in the distance (the bike) and guaging it’s rate coming at you are two different things and speed limits ideally help determine this as well as the other more obvious safety factors.

i like the matching wallpaper and iron board cover. Nice touch.

if it’s worn they will still probably want it back though as I guess they can then claim ( from individual or their distribution/supplier company )on the grounds of soiled returned goods (at a guess)

however you have made a payment for a basket of goods and a single transaction – which they have agreed to – so I guess the contract is fine and in reality anything could have happened to the jumper since receiving it so I expect it’s unreasonable to demand it back or demand payment although you may decide to return the item. E.g. Could have been posted to the other side of the world, given as a present or sold to a friend etc.
