Top job to all at STW for producing such a good mag. Personally it never bothers me that my subs copy is a little late as Im usually still reading the previous months mag, its normally that full of quality stuff it needs a full 31 days attention
Mr Kazoo’s opinion is his and his only the vast majority of us really appreciate the job you guys do to meet your deadlines and get the mag out every month so cheers guys

There is no love/like of Kerrang. Just a dislike and contempt of Moyles/Cotton/Grimshaw/James/Cotton/Nihal/Moyles/Whiley/Bowman and the Radio One playlist and music policy in general. Quite often one show will finish with a particular song and then 10 minutes later the next presenter will play the same song again. Oh and did I mention Moyles and Cotton both of them make me want to put my foot through the radio and as for that Bowman and Whiley…..

no Alex I’m 35, but its a damn site better than Radio 1, and they do at least play a variety of tolerable modern day and older music with minimal Brummie banter.
I cant stand Chris Moyles find him anally childish and egotistical.
I used to listen to Terry Wogan but also not a huge fan of Chris Evans so thats Radio 2 out. I prefer music in the mornings to talking so 4, 5 and Talk Sport rarely get a listen My local radio – RAM Fm is complete toss and Radio Derby is just a big miserable moaning phone-in so its the best of a very bad bunch and given my commute isnt that long it really doesnt bother me too much

But before you (a Radio 1 listener FFS) go slagging other people off for their ’14 year old’ music choice maybe you could learn to post in something more grown up than the ‘txt type’ of your original post?

I can’t see any way that the Dambusters could be re-made today. Same applies to Battle of Britain, 633 Squadron, Cruel Sea etc.

They were all made at a time when the aircraft (ships etc) required were still available in sufficent numbers to make it look convincing. Yes, the special effects were pants compared to today, but no amount of cgi could conjure the flying scenes in any of those films.

My wife went off for a full day with a local horseriding, she never felt threatened, unfortunately I didnt join them as I had literally came out of plaster with a broken ankle 5 days earlier (flew out there first day out of plaster)

We went Havanna – Vinales – Las Terrazas – Varadero
Enabled us to see a fair bit of the island and culture as well as having both city and beach elements
like others said many hotels quite basic so check them out first

In havana we stayed at Hotel Mercure Sevilla Havane
Again was excellent and steeped in history (our room was the same room where Grahame Greene wrote Our man in Havana and Al Capone had previously commendeered the whole floor). It also is right smack bang in the centre and has an outdoor rooftop pool
In Varadero we stayed Paradisus Princesa del Mar Resort & Spa
Again superb, alot of hotels in Varadero look a bit dodgy but this was definately 4*

great shop very helpful staff not exactly cutting edge MTB gear but like people say good for older stuff

yeah mine too, tested several cards which all worked fine in other cameras and in a friends Muvi but made no difference

I used some sticky backed foam underlay stuff (from B&Q)that you lay on the floorboards and lay the oak flooring onto then peal back the cover and the oak sticks to the underlay, went down a dream, much quicker than screwing each board down. Took a bit to get used to the technique as the underlay is sticky as hell so have to make sure the planks are correctly positioned because once stuck there was no re-positioning

Has been down now for nearly 3 years (half is over existing floorboards, half over new concrete floor on extended part of room) and is still good, had no movement, creep, gaps apearing or little rises etc. Also no creaking or noise

Not sure on screwing to existing floorboards, would the oak not expand and contract at a different rate and could cause problems, like others said should it not be floating?

I also laid mine the opposite way to the existing floorboards

I had an older Ricoh Capilo camera and it was a cracking little camera until it died last year
Looking to replace it and its between a CX3 or Lumix TZ9 but given past experiences Im erring towards the Ricoh
