    Handsomedog, DDG, 24SEVEN.
I know HSD was allterraincycles own brand and they stoped making them but they got good reviews back in the day.
No idea about DDG but the shooter was a great bike for dirt jumping at the time.

I have carbon bars on both bikes and I am a tall heavy guy, Renthal are a reputable company and I would definitely trust those. If you were going cheap chinese I would be wary but those look fine.

    @midlifecrashes

Houses are cheap, beer is cheaper and a few good places to eat. Riding? Did I mention it’s easy to get to other places?

Steetley Quarry would be the main one, then there is Rother Valley about 40 mins away.

Personally I would forget e-bay and head to Pinkbike. E-bay is just full of people trying to make more money on their parts, Pinkbike is full of people clearing out sheds or upgrading so let stuff go for cheaper.

    Just leave this here
Last FastForward most capable hardtail I have ever owned, and I have had a few.

Seems like a legit sale to me. No bad punctuation, just the basic details, bike pic taken in a genuine setting. Good feedback score with plenty history. Probably just wants rid as he has already bought its replacement.

Contemplating getting rid of the Yeti 575 and just having the Last FastForward 29er as my main bike.
As every time I go to ride I go straight for that and enjoy it more.
But I will probably want another full susser when it goes and I will probably make a big loss on it.
But the longer I wait the less it will be worth if I do decide to part with it, so at the moment it is in limbo, maybe if something breaks on my Last I will be happy to have it as a back up.

I also have an itch for the NS RAG+ but can’t afford another bike, even if I do sell the Yeti.

Yeah I went on about £120 for the fork and then maybe £150 for the rest. If I was listing it on pinkbike or gumtree then £200 sounds about right. In my experience e-bay has always managed to get me way more than I was expecting, but then there is the fees.

Couple of hundred so maybe £350 – £400 on a good day on e-bay.

Purple Extreme lube has worked well for me for the last two years all year round even with peak district winter rides. And it is still available in the UK.

I’m sure Uberbike will have some. Similar if not cheaper than Superstar sometimes.

Seller should be able to sort it out either way, they have the choice of changing postage before they request payment.

They let you send pics in the messages so I have got around it before by writing down my email address or typing it out and then taking a photo and linking that. Bit of a long winded way but it works.

e-bay would be your best bet look for old unused stock. But usually they ask for the same price as the new ones.

Yari if you are on a budget. DVO Diamond if you have a bit more to spend and drop it to 140.

I think I bought the exact chain from CRC. Put it on my 1×11 XL Last Fastforward.

30t front ring, max 42 rear cassette ring.

I bought the 114 link chain.

Was looking at it the other day and I could have taken out at least 3 links settled for a chainguide instead and left it as it is.

is carbon not meant to bend rather than shear off suddenly? I thought that was one of the major selling points when the larger MTB market first moved to carbon that and the weight factor.

It covers storage and on car and apparently away from home use but only up to £2000 (well mine does). But you can add to it to bump it up for more coverage.

J E James Cycles sell spokes singularly, but you are probably better off ringing them as the website is a rabbit hole, and the search on it sucks.

I grew up with a kid called Digger.
And was at a kids event a couple of weeks ago and was reading through the kids names from a local school. I found the name Le-a. So assumed it was pronounced leea or Leah. Nope the teacher informed me she was called ladasha. Yes the – was pronounced dash.

I have not tried a Fabric Scoop, but have just sold my Charge Spoon saddle because of similar reasons. All the reviews I read about it praised its comfort but I found it extremely uncomfortable even on short rides.
Maybe get your sit bone measured with one of those gel pad measuring devices and buy the next saddle based on that.

Am currently using my Sony Xperia z tablet bought brand new about 4 years ago now. I have used it every day since new and continue to do so. Only thing that had to be fixed was the charge port and that only cost £25 to do from a phone shop.

singlespeedstu did you have to adjust the back wheel at all? I have read something about a 6mm offset to get the chainline running effectively. I have built my own wheels and cant be bothered fiddling with the rear one again if I can get away with it.

Got my tracking number for the exact same frame today, can’t wait until it turns up. Put my order in for one in August so it has been a long wait.

Makes sense since they started offering black only as a frame colour on the website.
I guess they outsourced the work to the cheapest bidder and now they are paying the price.

Got an e-mail this morning, they are shipping the frames out to customers this week.
