Making me jealous 32 years old, 2 years no claims, 2004 Honda Accord 2.0 Executive Estate lowest I could get was £740 Full comprehensive.

If it ever got lower than £500 I would be happy.

People say you don’t need to get the police involved, but the two accidents I have had, both not my fault, the insurance companies have asked me for a crime number. It makes it easier for them as statements have been taken and are available. Also it makes it lhader to change their statement later I guess.

To be fair if it is left at the side of a road with no bikes attached to it why would you expect to find it still there?

Of course someone is going to pick it up, free roof rack.

Rats make great pets, I currently have two (they should at least be in pairs) but have had over 100 at one point in my teenage years, had to convert a wardrobe to house them all.

Females are meant to smell less than males but I have had both and to be honest if they smell just as much as each other, the key is to clean the cage often.

I clean the entire cage every Sunday and change the bedding every second day, as my rats like using the bedding to urinate in occasionally. They do get out of the bedding area to use the toilet but it seems at least one of them is lazy and pees the bed. Also give them a corner in the cage as a toilet and they will use that, so they are quite clean that way.

Male rats are way more chilled so will probably be better for younger kids as Females tend to be more jumpy. Rats never bite unless you properly give them a reason to they are very submissive and would rather squeak and run off over fighting back.

They can live up to 3.5 years though so a bit longer than the 18 months previously quoted.

They are very intelligent and love to be interacted with usually first thing in the morning and at about 6.p.m if they are left alone they will just sleep until something interesting happens.

Alternatively, if you want a risk free tried and tested method to make money simply open a “recycling centre”, get paid to fill it up with people’s rubbish and then burn the place down and claim on your insurance.

Or you could do what someone around here did.

    Rent huge warehouse space

    Open a recycling business

Convince Council to use your company

Get a contract worth around £20 million

    Fill Warehouse with recycling

    Disappear abroad with the money

If your budget is super tight then an old KIA Rio  (rounder looking one) massive amount of boot space, cheap to fix, really basic but reliable mine made multiple trip from Doncaster to Glasgow twice a month for five months. Until it got hit front on while parked outside my house by a Toyota Yaris kiling the Yaris. It  still kept going for a few days until the courtesy car arrived then was driven away 4 weeks later by the scrapper when the insurance paid out and I went for a bigger engine.

Older mazda 6 04 – 07 can be had for under a grand.

Mazda 6 works for me can fit three bikes in and you can put the seats down by pulling handles in the boot area. Although when parts start getting replaced they are quite pricey.

Then again I am assuming it is the guy who owns the stall it is more likely he lives on the street opposite the market and takes his photos leant up against the stall.

If he does live opposite which judging by the pics he does then these are 100% stolen goods.

Copley Road or Harrington Street would be my guess.

He seems to have taken a few of those photos at the market in Doncaster, there is a bike stall tucked away in the corner that is frequented by chavs and generally has a load of crap bikes. He might have got lucky with the Norco.

I live about a 10 minute walk away and am off to the market tomorrow for some fruit and veg, I will pop over and look at his stock.

What I am saying is lots of those bikes are probably stolen judging by his clientele, but he has being selling them for years on that stall.

An unconditional offer is great, it takes the pressure off from having to perform to a certain level in the exam. Means you can go into the exams a little more relaxed As long as she passes she is in.

When I applied back in 06 I got unconditional offers from all Unis I applied for, but I think that was down to them needing to fill the mature student category. I was 21 at the time.

Mine is also just used for water and usually kept on the kitchen floor or the boot of my car depending on which is coldest.

It is hard to get motivated to ride in Winter anyway, especially after being off the bike for so long. Maybe wait until Spring when the trails look a bit more tempting.

Yeah thats the same Tredz, it seems they don’t like running a stock update system so they just load up the suppliers stock feeds and set it all to in stock. (Not fact just seems to be the way they are doing it based on how another company I worked for did it)

I would check all the bolts are done up and then take it for a little spin up and down the road to check the gears. If they function fine I would leave it at that.

I had a feeling I knew what company you were dealing with and now the Intense Recluse has confirmed it. They were alright a year or two ago but since they changed their name and updated the website it has gone downhill.
It looks like they might be struggling and the service has definitely gone suffered, probably taken on too much stock and are struggling to pay bills.

You can climb around my jumper/shirt all you want if you stop biting my arm pits.

I have 2 rats who enjoyed climbing into my top until all of a sudden my armpits became a target. So have been banned from one of their favourite activities.

I often wonder if bikes like these get sent off to the rest of Europe like Germany,Poland, France etc. It would not take long to get them across the channel and if they are put on e-bay in those countries they will be less likely to be found by the victims who will be searching Facebook, gumtree, ebay etc in the UK.

I think there is something wrong with their code entry system. I got a email code from them before Christmas (think it was like 10% off) and it would not accept it.

No need for the old cetificate it will be updated online. And it will be from when theold one runs out, you can get the Mot a month before the old one runs out and you don’t lose any days.

The rule is – frame and fork can be a colour, everything else black or silver. Otherwise you end up with something like hypnonewt’s total taste bypass.

Haha my view is as long as you have the bike skills to back it up you can be as lairy as you want with bike colours. Took me a long time to build up my riding skill to clown bike level 😉

Agreed with everyone above, if he wanted at least £650 for it he should have put a reserve on it. Probably did not because it costs him more to do so. But tough luck basically, open a dispute if you want otherwise give negative feedback.

If it is a Ghost then they make good bikes. I had two when I lived in Germany. They size up like Cubes.

Best bet is ask if anyone has one and they can tell you how it sizes up.

    Loads on Pinkbike.
Saw a Super 8 getting dropped off at the tip on Saturday almost shed a tear for it if it was not for the hernia the guy was getting lifting the frame above waist height to get it in the scrap metal skip thing. Reminded me of how overbuilt and heavy they were, was most likely cracked anyway.

I have not had a bike I have not built up myself in about fifteen years. I look at getting a complete build then I think I would swap that and that and come to the conclusion I may aswell just build one.
I would check it all over though if I bought a complete one.

Trek – Due to the way they buy up brands and make them disappear or take their ideas and put them on their bikes. Also the price fixing they seem to get away with. Trek can’t be sold online and bully shops into keeping the same price until the next years models are released only then they allow a small drop in price. If they catch you offering their bikes in a promotion they kick off.

Specialized- Too many cases of bullying smaller brands over patents and throwing their weight around.

I would not say they are necessary but they sure help me. I have only had that nappy feeling once with Endura undershorts Fox and Mavic are both easily forgotten comfort wise for me. Maybe try a different better fitting brand if they feel a bit nappy like.
