Sorry to hear that squiff, I’ll keep an eye out for you too. Mine were stolen t’other weekend from Keighley, it does indeed seem to be going around at the moment. Hope you get good news soon.

Bit of an update on this, I too had spotted the Gumtree ad. and forwarded it to the police. They handled it really well, rang up as an interested buyer, arranged a viewing and then raided him. My Chameleon was recovered along with some other stolen bikes – hopefully some from here.
Thanks for all your help and comments guys!

C’est la vie I suppose, but not the best way to polish off an 8 hr drive. Yeah, they were all locked up mighty fine, but they’ve cut right through. I’ll nip into the local shops tomorrow if I can.
Thanks all,
Humpy.
Hello Herman,
I mostly ride an ’07 Santa Cruz Chameleon in ‘battered’ paint scheme, and I take it everywhere with me. The facial hair is an upkeep nightmare, but it’s worth it for all the ladies throwing their panties at you when crooning Release Me.
Just in case you really dont know.
Fred was a forum big hitter that got banned for life a month or so ago. Everybody thinks you are him. You may well be nobody knows you.
I’m with you. I’ll try to put you at ease, but understand that it might take time. No, I’m not Fred, sorry if I appeared Freddish. I’m not really Englebert Humperdinck either. Didn’t think my cover would be blown so quickly…
Quick question – if you wanted to be called Eng, why not sign up as Eng? Only readers of this thread will know what you want to be called.
And it’s DeBz with a “B” (sorry, in joke.)
There’s a certain, almost sensuous beauty in the word ‘Humperdinck’, but it’s too long to type out regularly.
You can call me anything you like Yeti. My favourite pet name is Tweetypie, or Sweet Lips.
I’m going to check out as much of this lovely forum as possible, it looks interesting. Thanks for the warm welcome, I’ll try to bring home the bacon for you all in May.
Engers.
Hello Don Simon,
I’m pleased to meet a member of the Spanish aristocracy, they’ve thrown me some good parties over the years. I’m very well off thankyou, I hope you are too. 2012 will be a good year.
Engle.
