Here’s the mighty @kinesisbikes_uk #sync baking in the sun on yesterday’s ride #MTB #tilushness #titanium by South Downs MTB Skills[/url], on Flickr

Sounds like we ride in exactly the same places, I can confirm the Sync is a great tool for the job! How tall are you? Mine is a medium. if you want to meet up for a ride and have a twiddle on my Sync I’m sure it could be arranged…..

I’m with you on that one Ton, after my accident three years ago I didn’t know if I would be able to ride again, fortunately after about six months it all settled down. So just getting out on a bike at all makes me happy these days :-)

Another +1 for the strut, I’ve got flatties on my Sync and risers on my genesis fortitude, a nice comfy bar (for me anyway)

Birdage, TurnerGuy, Cinnamon girl – Yes, they are the 42c conti Cyclo X Kings.

They work really well round here, my only reservation was in the wet on the road, but actually now they have worn a bit they are OK. They just felt a bit slippy at first.

My commute is mainly off road anyway and they are proving fine for that.

I’ve got three Ti bikes, A Cove Hummer, a Kinesis Sync and a Kinesis Tripster ATR.

I don’t try to justify it, I just like the way they feel!

I’m in the trade, so I got them from Paligap.

They’ve built up nicely, difficult to get totally true, it took a bit of patience, but I’m happy with the results now.

@MTB Rob – I’ll tell you thursday, it’s built, but not on yet as I haven’t got time to fiddle with the wires till then

@liam007 I’ve got the Exposure front hub, well when it arrives anyway, I’m waiting! Hopefully today…..

I got a pair of the Stan’s Grail rims yesterday, just gotta sort out a rear hub, probably Hope.

@cr500dom – no they’re not small block 8’s, they are Conti CX kings in 42mm width. Reasonably fast on the road, but a decent volume for off road, which is the bulk of my miles.

@somafunk – my lbs is getting some ortleib bags in soon, so I’m waiting to see what they are like.

I’m ordering the Exposure lights Revo next week for it

    Yeah, good manoeuvre there SIngletrackmind!!

You kept a punishing pace on the last lap too, you were just in sight, but I couldn’t catch you back up despite my best efforts. I was watching the clock as it was touch and go to get back in time, that’s the closest I’ve ever come to vomiting in a race, made it though :-)

They’re superstar rotors CG, to be honest I wouldn’t say they work any better than the stock ones, but I wanted them because they were green!

My next purchase is going to be the Exposure Lights Revo and dynamo hub, that will let me use it for my offroad commute all winter and you can charge USB stuff via the smart port on longer excursions.

They use the standard 105 levers, they’re cable actuated.

I’ve got an Easton Haven carbon post in mine, again with carbon paste. But I’m probably going to put in a Ti U.S.E. post when I can afford it, probably no better, but I’m a tart….

@notmyrealname – I’m six foot with a 34″ inside leg, I went 54cm as I felt the stretch was too much on 57cm.
