Tried to log support with Garmin … Even their website doesn’t work!!! How good is that!

Withings looks good. Assume you don’t need to do anything to log weight once setup?

[*]Update – have used Garmin 500 a few times now. Seems to work well. For road cycles I load my GPX (created coarsely in memorymap) into MapMyRide. It can then snap the route to the roads. Then I export as GPX (just save over the original file) and load into Garmin for verifying and sending to the GPS.

Post ride I only import to MapMyRide. Seems to work well.

I just bought a Garmin Edge 500 for the same reason (plus wanted something more robust). Issue is however that it seems VERY convoluted to get routes onto the device or Garmin Connect website. As most outdoor people I create my routes using OS Map software (memory map). These can be saved as GPX files. However you CANNOT import GPX onto device or the garmin site. I find this totally ridiculous! You have to go through a series of file manipulation to make this work.

Why the **** can’t life be simple for once!!!

Having ridden MTB for many years and I think only once replaced a BB I’m frustrated at why these are packing up so quickly. Perhaps the loads when touring are too much.

Hey stumpy got a copy of AP; quite a positive review.. Interestingly they also note it has the same image chip as the NEX 7 which must be good news!

Yes the mode selector does appeal…find the menu system on NEX not ideal.

There is a find duplicates feature iTunes. If that don’t work you could try using the iTunes match service which is great if you also want to back up your entire collection to the cloud. It will identify all duplicates.

Thanks globalti; My other bike is also an Sworks Roubaix and I have no problems on that. The bike in question here is a genesis croix de fer which is steel with a cromo fork. Going to swap stem today and see if that improves matters.. The bars at carbon cycles look tempting too…

Me again…. After looking at all suggestions here I reckon I’m placing too much weight on my wrists and hands. Going to try for a stem with a rise to see if that helps.

Is the contact / support area greater on MTB or Road pedals.

Thanks all…yeah tried not gripping too hard and moving hands around regularly. Think some thicker bar tape is the answer…..what’s there is very thin!
