+1 for sticking your boots on and leaving the bike at the bottom, well worth the walk, but not really enough of it rideable.

I know of a Miele Dishwasher that going strong still after about 18/19 years. Not bad going for a what was a house with 5 people for the first 10 years of it's life.

Personally I'd like to see Bat for Lashes win, as she came second a year or two ago, but I reckon it'll go to Florence, which ain't no bad thing either.

OS offer a service called OS select where you can select the centre point of a map, they do it in Explorer and Landranger ranges.

    OS Select

that might cut it down to 2 maps I guess.

I'd rather go up Cragg vale I think, longer but steadier, and there's less cars going up that way too.

Cragg Vale also holds the 'longest continual gradient in England' title too, so it's gotta be worth pub bragging points to ride up that way too.

Well done guys, I'm back from that too now, Mossley to Old trafford, manc to blackpool and all the way back, 150.28 miles…. kerrrrnackered, but a fantastic day out.

Bit disheartening for the people on the other side of preston that keep seeing the numbers on jerseys of people going home again :-)

If 20,000 people want their money back for an Oasis gig that they actually got to go too, and saw Oasis play at, how many people do you think will not try and get a refund for a concert that’s not going to happen? Everyone would be my guess

I rode the other day with great big flappy raceface DH shorts and a tight XC top. They were the only things clean so, what the hell.

    Probably looked pretty silly, though.

Ha, I’ve just got back from a couple of hours on my ‘darkside’ dressed like that, old scruffy baggies too.

It’s about the riding not the clothing!

you could try doing an image search on flickr as a lot of people upload hi-res copies that’d be ok for printing.

just do a google image search for ‘modified ford ka’ that’ll do the trick :-)
