As GrahamS & SFB have said, keep the original size for archiving, hard disk space is hardly expensive nowadays.

if however you're still after a free easy resizer, there's an XP powertoy for the job… should work on Vista too I'd have thought, just right click on a single or batch of images then choose 'resize image(s)'

sold my kona h/t to fund a bit of my trek top fuel, and I love it…. having said that I do now have 2/3 of an on-one in my lounge as I missed the h/t experience.

if you can afford to keep it cash and space wise, then do.

here's another longshot, but have you tried putting the hotmail address into google, if they've ever put it in plain text on a forum etc it may have been crawled and appear in a search, and stuff it's with may help you identify the person…..

not to be too un-cryptic with my answer but….

I didn't stick around, and wouldn't in the future either.

I understand if people find out or their other half admit to it and attempt to sort things out, but I think at that point the trust in the relationship's all but gone and you'd only end up stressing and tying yourself up in knots over it.

    my 2p anyway.

Damn… thats tempting… how much was it mate ?

I got a single room , for £30 through laterooms.com, doubles were £55 I think.

More the merrier, then I get drinking buddy's on a saturday night away, and maybe even some of these fabled waitresses in short skirts.

Right, I've pushed the boat out for this one! Due to the distance from mine I've booked the Saturday night in Kirkby Stephen at the Black Bull, dunno what it's like but it was cheap and central.

So I'll be fuelled by a full english on the Sunday :-)

Saddleworth was mentioned for the december ride, but if november is again in the lower part of the north, then this may get rolled back so we can even up the travelling for those that have already travelled down for 2 months.

If you want to sort out a bit of a ride for the weekend of the 8th then lets book it in, could make it a saddleworth/marsden moor ride planning trip, with post ride refreshments obviously :-)

If I did not know any better I'd say a certain pseudo Yorkshireman waits for a ride to be arranged then comes up with a convenient excuse

I should be around for this I think.

I've used lovefilm for about 3 years now, always found it to be very good, the trick with TV series' is to only ever have one on your list at any one time, they'll send the DVD's in box sets out in the right order, but if you've got for example CSI season 8 part 1 and part 2 on there they may send part 2 first if it's in stock as it's a different item as far as their system's concerned.

Films wise my account says I've had over 250 from them, no blu-ray player yet, but I'm sure the more recent releases will be well stocked in both formats.

Plus if you rent something and it turns out to be rubbish, I don't feel bad about stopping it, and sending it back unlike if i'd rented from a shop or bought it.

East Z East and Akbars are my favorite indians
Bem Brasil is the one TeeTooSugars means, and it's great if you're in a group.

pub/bar wise, there are a few good one's up in the 'northern quarter' Trof, TV21 & Odd Bar.

in my experience with other items (generally computer bits) OEM tends to mean it's not got the retail packaging (shiny box etc) and sometimes the manual too (not much of a problem as manuals are available via the internet anyway)

it's basically the way rockshox would ship them to a bike manufacturer (on-one) if they were going to build them onto a bike to then sell on.

spec & warranty-wise they should be the same as the retail items

Ray Charles – Georgia On My Mind
Joe Cocker – With A Little Help From My Friends

Looks like a nice bit of trail spoilt there…

Marsdenman a STW 'local ride' has been pencilled in for deepest darkest winter around us, so a bit of help with the route etc would be great, and a good excuse for a few training rides/beers.

The backups could be down as hidden or system files which by default can't be seen.

Open an explorer window (computer, my docs, etc), go to the tools menu, and select folder options, click on the view tab, and then part way down is the option to show hidden files/folders. tick that, click ok etc then recheck your E: drive, you will hopefully get a better idea of what's using up the space.

likely broadband speed as above, start the clip playing, press pause, go make a cuppa, come back and watch it when it's all cached and ready to go!

youtube does seem to be slower at downloading vids recently too though.

It's amazing fun to drive, fits a bike in the back (or on the roof), does OK mpg and it's got plenty toys for a small car.

Another for the Paulson grumpy reception club. Never managed to raise a smile out of them.

I don't know if they have a problem with light fingered people or not, but the staff seem to follow you around the shop too, which spoils the shiny bit browsing I tend to do before buying something boring and practical :|
