I would guess that the person was just a bit of c0ck, sounds like you did nowt wrong…

I drive into and out of manchester everyday, it amazes me the way people drive, cutting down the outside of long lines of cars to turn off, or squeezing the last inch of road out before a bus lane etc… seriously, do they get to work/home any quicker? Personally I just take it easy, stick the ipod on shuffle and leave plenty time to get to work in the first place.

As mentioned above, put the kettle on, have a biccy, and relax in the knowledge that at somepoint the person will flash & wave fingers at the wrong person.

GavGas, from the route you've got in mind at the moment, will there be any/many bail out points, I've potentially got a +1 coming along, but reckon the full distance may be pushing it* assuming that it's around the 30miler you mention to start with.

*if we do clear off early I'll leave the cake somewhere :-)

    Cheers

So The CSI: Whatever Series' and Baywatch, probably the two biggest selling/most exported TV series in history don't make it.

I know it doesn't make them 'the best' but surely that kind of fan base is worthy of a place in the top 50.

How about a 'personal message' function like some other forums have? So you don't have to display your email in your profile, and it would stop all the 'does anyone have XXXXXXX's email address' threads too.

looks ok at the moment to me :P (it's a webcam image, so I'll put a disclaimer on that statement incase the weather changes)

Have you tried an allen key on the other side and something to increase your leverage? a bit of pipe as a sleeve over the allen key or something?

depending on your music taste there's loads out there, personally I have 'The Arrow' on my DAB or via the internet most of the time as there's no DJ's or adverts, just non stop rock (70's onwards) cheesy as hell sometimes, but who cares 8)

glad the ride yesterday made your mind up Hora, there were some right idiots out there, I saw another accident on my way back home too… plonkers.

16" seems to suit most people, and like other people have said, pay £150ish for the frame, and it it doesn't suit there's plenty people out there that'll bite your hand off for it at not a lot less.

I'm roughly the same height as you and went for a 16", I think it's pretty much spot on for me/my riding style with a 70mm stem.

I think if you've got the newer interface installed (with the wii me kinda fella) then it'll play some formats as standard, but if it can't it'll use the XBOX live service to download the relevant codec (if you're online and a silver/gold member). I've got mine playing most things now, not MKV files though which is a pain.

Is a 1st gen ipod touch not out of warranty now anyway, lunch date for the 2nd gen was september last year, so 12months is more than up unless you bought an extended warranty I guess….

I do have a 1 gen ipod touch box (16gb) going spare, I'm in Manchester if that helps…

I've been on 7 for about a month now, straight from XP (new lappy), had no issues, seems stable, speedy and has some nice new features without cutting out any of the 'behind the scenes' stuff that lets me get on with my job.

I've not found anything that doesn't work software wise yet either.

If you're looking at anything over the most basic spec PC I'd say get it.
