Saw this story the other day, cracking pics Chris. Hopefully looks worse than it is. Few ready cooked Pheasant though I'd have thought.

make sure you clean your gloves regularly too, only so much of the dirt comes direct from the trail, the rest is transfer after you've been mauling other bits with your mitts 😉

I'll be there, got my postal form yesterday 🙂

Is it the same route as last year? That was a killer, but strangely enjoyable.

I did a track day in a 355 a few years back, it was 'mildly moist' as the TG boys would say, and it was great fun, the acceleration, noise, the feel, everything… 8)

I'm sure the Audi would be fun, but a bit sanitised and TBH is that what you want from a track day? Aston, again very nice and lovely to listen too, but you'll hear it all day anyway as people will be using that the same day as your experience too. The only plus I can see for the California is the retractable roof, but that'll only come down if you catch that one day of summer this year…

Whatever, it'll be a hoot. Enjoy

I had a quick pootle around the Red trail today as part of a bigger ride, quite enjoyed the new stuff, and will definatley be back in drier weather to ride more. Was busier than I've seen it before too which can only be a good thing for it continued success.

On a negative front, and I may have missed this from a previous post/thread, but when did the travellers set up camp on the roads/parking at the bottom? I'm not saying they're neccessarily going to be an issue but i'd think twice about strapping my bike to the roof and wandering over the road for a post ride refresher. Or am I just being un-pc and a little prejudiced?

Is it just me, or is this not 'free OS mapping'? Yeah I know you should use it for anything commercial, but it's not restricted for printing for personal use…

'09 Recon Coil U-Turn 85-130mm, no issues so far, run them at 130mm 99% of the time, the occasional twiddle down if it's a long climb.

don't normally go in for all the airing of private parts, but I was pretty proud of myself for this effort… all figures from the same day, think 43mph was on the A6 somewhere on the return with a following wind.

last year's Manc-Blackpool there and back and to and from my house to the start. Same again this year 8)

already been done, at least the place near oldham added some comedy value by having a similar name

unsurprisingly the health and safety brigade removed it after a few days next to the M60

If all the bulbs are working it could be a bad earth making the car think a bulb has gone, get someone else to sit with their foot on the brake pedal whilst the indicator is on and see if the rear light clusters perform strangely (i.e. all lights flashing, or the 'pulse' of the indicator making other lights flash too). If that's happening remove the cluster, clean contacts are try again.

alternatively most cars/makes/models have forums too, you could join one and ask.

I think this is the response you were after

"gutted for you, two weeks will fly by and by then the trails will be drier.. etc etc….."

ps. red is faster, fact! 😆

a mate got one a couple of months back, seems to work fine, wireless range is OK, just take it from room to room with you. we've had 3 laptops joined to it at a hotel and it perfomed OK.

Like all 3g dongles speed is fine providing you're in a good signal area.

Got my road bike from decathlon, good level of kit for the price, no issues yet in approx 1000miles, even threw in a pair of roadie shoes when I bought the bike.

Mines for campag mirage kit on, and I went for a triple up front as I'm a steady climber 😳

+1 for VW lupo / Seat Arosa 1.4tdi, I had the Arosa, great little car, 60+mpg on a decent run, never less than 45mpg. Quite pokey too.

Same engine went in the polo too from around 2002 onwards I think, maybe earlier
