Lost much respect for her when she moaned so much about the skin suits, shortly after losing to one…

As an aside; I got so sick of bending X9 rear mechs that I went back to Shimano and tried the SLX. Much, much stiffer cage and a far more minimal mech profile. Have been pleasantly surprised by the shifting, too.

Am told several times a day that I need a bigger, harder c0ck.

    No change, then.

Legally you will need to buy a retail version. OEM product is supposed to be sold with PC/Laptop etc via a retailer

Not AFAIK; you can buy a motherboard or new hard drive and be entitled to buy an OEM operating system.

    Try eBuyer?

    On a similar note…

Did anyone work out how to use the three shells in the Stallone film ‘Demolition Man’..?

Why change? What are you hoping the ti post will do, that the Thomson doesn’t do now?

Having had Thomson and Ti posts there is a considerable difference in stiffness, obviously most noticeable on a hardtail. It really softens the ride and helps remove trail ‘buzz’; helped my back no end.

    What did you order though?

Suunto HRM with bike kit. What you’ve said makes sense; have to wait for them to get it in first before shipping to me… waits with baited breath for order to arrive!

(Have actually emailed them and just received a reply saying it should be with me by the end of the week.)

The reason most of you are teachers is that you couldnt handle jobs in the real world.

    Cheers, Dave.

Anyone riding in the Tweed valley today?

Yup – Glentress and Cardrona area; and it was icy. In fact wet and icy, very slippery and lots of ice remaining.

    …insulin sensitivity…

As someone with Type 1 diabetes I am probably more aware of glycaemic indices and insulin sensetivity than most. Porridge is, from my persepective, a great way to start the day.

Another teacher; secondary school Craft, Design and Technology; currently an NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) at a local-ish community high school. Am hoping there’s a job on offer at the end of this school year!

One of the bestest online bike shops; and they have a proper, real phone number with which you can contact them! Always very helpful when I have spoken to them.

What happened to everyone else who said the would be there, all talk i guess.

All talk a few days ago, and today full of the common cold – sadly.

Was genuinely gutted to have missed it! Such a great day weatherwise.

Yup; iTunes will (File > Add Folder to Library) and maintain the info – but converting from one compressed format to another may well result in loss of quality. Ideally, you’d re-rip from CD but can understand your reluctance if you’ve got hundreds of gigs..!

I was, for a while, on Facebook. Then realised that it was yet another form of communication that I didn’t need, so emailed them and got them to delete my account and all information contained within.

Gore Phantom; especially as I managed to get it for only £50.
Shimano SLX shifters and rear mech; after several years with SRAM I’m now back to Shimano and grateful for the far more robust rear mech and minimal profile.

I should be along for the Innerleithen ride, and I know one other that should make it along too.
