Pretty much addicted to Just Cause 2. It’s the only game i go back to and play repeatedly. I do occasionally play FIFA or Skate but they get boring much more quickly.

The bloke next door to me leaves food out for the foxes, to the point where there is now 3 or 4 that live somewhere where the gardens intersect and just laze around during the day. One of them died in my garden and i wasn’t half tempted to sling it over the fence towards his patio.

LFGSS probably have the most useful recommedations on locks, boils down to Kryptonite Evo/Fagh mini x2 ususally though.

Nice, modern house just outside London, with enough land for a small skatepark in a barn and some dirtjumps/pumptrack. Otherwise a house/apartment in the south of France somewhere, then the next thing to do is emulate Anthony Bourdains’ No Reservations.

Chap up there who suggests binning Clarkson and Hammond, and adding bikes as a way of ‘improving’ Top Gear?
That’s not improving, that’s completely changing and will alienate the vast majority of viewers without adding more. People don’t watch TG for consumer advice and detailed reviews of cars.

Anagallis, they aren’t arguing she was a shit cyclist, just that she wasn’t the easiest person to get along with and perhaps THAT is the reason she had trouble finding a good team/role.

Halfords have quite a rigid price plan when it comes to work done on a bike. The list is available for people to look at. It is steep in some respects and not very flexible. But if memory serves me right that’s about right for Halfords pricing and not something hes made up. Mind its a bit mean charging for brake fluid.

Halfords use a rough guide as to how long a job will take and then give a set price. This then has a set code to put through the till. It gives consistent pricing if nothing else because some stuff like bb can turn into a right bitch of a job if stuck.
Yes, when i used to do it, people got less labour charges if it was perceived to be part of something else already being done, and i never charged for consumables.

Watched it today, would be better if it had breaks in the singing, or no singing at all. I know it’s a musical but it made it much more difficult to follow. It was also far too long, and Anne Hathaway best supporting actress for 5ish minutes of screentime? no thanks.

Someone alluded to it on the previous page, it is Ian Watkins of Lostprophets who has been charged (and denied bail) on some horrendous charges of child abuse.

A bit of googling turns up lots of grim stories about him.

Was in Action Bikes this morning, all LA books were heavily discounted, apparently can’t give the away.

Strip club is grotty, wouldn’t bother. The peel is on the cambridge estate, not really Kingston so if going by train get off at Norbiton.

The scene in Crank where ‘The Stathe’ is driving like a lunatic to keep his heart rate up because of the poison. The way it’s edited slow/fast and with the matching ringtone.

Nearly always run a rear brake (LH lever) on mine, i say nearly as fully removable brake mounts and guides means 5-10mins to remove/replace whole set.
Best he keeps the brake on unless he is controlled at riding brakeless. Get him a linear cable for it, as it will make his brake feel much stiffer and allows for barrys and whoops.

Mo Farah living in the US strikes me as a bit odd, seeing as he lives in Teddington. He bought a bike from the Halfords i used to work in for his daughter in September. He is the thinnest person i have ever seen, nice bloke though.

You guys are making me feel bad for getting an electric toothbrush for my little brother. He’s just got braces so i thought it might help.
I don’t have a problem with anything i get given, other than socks/scarves/etc.

Sounds daft but is it at the valve? If so then take the ring off the valve and push the valve back into the rim to sit the tube in correctly. Only re-fit the ring when the tube is fully inflated.

The team2street dvd looks quality and is dead cheap, and if you can get it Empire ‘bad idea’.

I have a BMX, ride maybe 2 or 3 times a year recently. Managed to maintain the few tricks i can do but have given up all hope of learning new stuff, though the trend towards building nuts looking concrete bowls annoys me, no good for beginners/crap riders. Get me a ‘street’ style skatepark, with small quarters and no spine and I’m laughing.

    Such as this:

    Very little legitimately though!

An awful lot legitimately actually, their supplier network is massive. cycle2work can get you a speshlized (or whatever) but you would have to go through them rather than your local store.

makes me laugh really, in bmx (freestyle, not racing) a lifetime warranty is just that, and all the scummy bmx kids abuse it horribly. if bmx companies took the same stance as some of these mentioned they would be shunned and probably go out of business due to bad rep.

I would get horizontal straps, like holdfasts as they are much easier to get in and out of. I originally bought restraps and found them to be a nightmare to use, really floppy so you couldn’t slide your shoe into them easily. Replaced them with holdfast and they stay put and are much more rigid.
This is on a road fixietwatbike though.

Just go for the FSA, as if there is any point of a carbon fibre spacer on a BB. For what it’s worth, most bike shops (inc. Halfords/Evans) will have stacks of square taper BB’s, give your local a call?.

Nothing wrong with Whitton, and the Action Bikes are great. I might be biased having lived on the Hounslow/Whitton border all my life, but i don’t see anything wrong with most of the area.
Feltham is apparently getting gentrified but i would avoid, likewise Isleworth, central/west/east Hounslow. Hampton/Hampton Hill is nice.

I wouldn’t have thought Fergie cares a whole lot if Liverpool lose Suarez, hardly competing for the same things. I would say though, that Liverpool would be better off (or the same place, just more liked) without him, Bellamy and Kuyt are plenty good enough, just need better understudies.

Freewheel tools and cassette tools are different, FW tool looks like a longer version of cass. tool but the splines are different.
I reckon if you went to a half decent shop and bought the replacement freewheel at the same time they would remove it for free, as it isn’t a difficult or time consuming job.

QR skewers should be all around the same length (for respective ends obviously). You would be better off buying some more Shimano skewers as the enclosed cam mechanism holds more securely.
I always put a smear of grease on the skewer, probably more of a placebo but it can’t hurt against seizing.

Find a shop that deals with Extra (Topeak distro), such as Halfords. they should be able to get you one.

I would go for Garmin, if only because our local Garmin rep is a top bloke and their customer service is spot on.
Go to Halfords to get it, usually cheapest and do half price accessories when you buy.
    Avoid Navman, RAC etc.

Halfords can order a shedload of different brands, and not just on C2W. You aren’t limited to what is instore, you will need to know exactly what you want though.
