I bought one in November and it is the best road bike I have owned or ridden. Really comfortable and responsive when acclerating hard on the cranks.
Can’t reccomend it enough to be honest. For the monet I think you would have to go some to beat it. I also looked at the Ribble Grand Fondo but opted for the Planet X on the basis I have nothing but good experiences with On-One, scandal frame, inbred frame, clothing, carbon forks etc.
    Go for it!

    Cycle is in Brum, Oct.
The was sold as the London cycle show, after the cycle show moved to Brum.
Was heavily advertised on Bike Radar etc

Great show if you wanted a boat!! Just for the odd hundred thousand or so! May be millions looking at some of them!

    Won’t be going again I don’t think.

I wonder if the owner is dragging a bag of gravel as a training weight? Probably not as his shell suit and 60oz gold chain are heavy enough for his weedy ass!!!! 😆

Totally out of order, report to all of the above.

I have got a Simple as well, for the winter and training! Not as bling as Soda for obvious reasons but just love’em!

Scandal = brilliant, fast, smooth, surprisingly comfortable, race machine. For the money you really have to go some. On-One have got some cheap bling wheels too!

Anthem X, Spech Epic or Scott Spark would be choices. After having 2 Epics, 1 Spark and 2 rides on Anthems I would go for the Spark everytime.

It’s a shame 2wheels1guy as the Soul is a much better frame.

I’d go for the R8 to be honest, much better bike and more than capable for most British trails, especially against the P7.

Aren’t those forces the same ones that are transferred when you hit a bump in the road?
Where is the body weight transferred to the wheel and in-turn to the ground?

Another one here! Since the week before xmas, saw my niece boxing day and feel like I’ve gone back a week!! She’s now on antibotics as she’s only 2 years old and ‘have to get on with it’ and drink lots!!
Really bored now and no riding for nearly 3 weeks has put an end to the training I had been doing………..so hard to get, so easy to lose!

I had one for 2 years and couldn’t fault it. I found it more comfortable to ride than the Inbred it replaced.
The measurements on the website are spot on from memory.
You won’t regret it and as others have said, for the money……

I’ve had 2 Epic’s now; 2007 and 2010. I also has a Spark 20 in 2009 and rated the Spark much more than the Epic.
Just couldn’t get on with the rear shock brain. The Spark just felt right, was comfy all day with mates in the hills and made for a quick race bike.
Now back to hardtails again but if I were to go back to full-suss, Spark everytime although the price has gone up somewhat now!!

I spoke with CRC yesterday as with the 10% voucher the M980 race pedals are really good value.
CRC had 200 sets coming in but 290 back orders. The next delivery is mid-December.

Trust me, living in the flats of east anglia it would be a good alternative to Thetford forest or local bridleways!!

Just a real shame that the course won’t remain open, would be somewhere else for folk to ride
