last night’s new episode was great.

    Agree :)

I’m not sure how its pace and laidback humour can irritate. Thats what makes it for me.

Its toooo laid back for me. Prefer my comedy faster- I guess more cerebral in ways (oi leave it PK)

Evans Manchester for repairs that I cant do. I must say there is a lad in there called David who puts spannermonkeys in some fancy LBS’s to shame skillwise.

He doesnt huff and puff and say it may take an hour or two to basically milk me of as much money as possible…or not have a clue and ‘guess’ like some have. Within 10mins its always a simple ‘done’.

Don’t do that silly "arms straight, hanging off the back of the saddle" thing.

Thats probably why I had a comedy slow over-the-bars down a rocky banking in Hebden the other week then

I’m not a Parrot Lover however I can’t even begin to think about the anguish these people must be feeling right now. To see your pet killed by another animal must be horrible. If they are petlovers it must be doubly hard as they cant face ‘retribution’ either.

Jeesus, I’d be over there today with an expensive bottle of wine, a big bouquet of flowers and discuss an action plan for replacing their Parrot with one they chose (of course not an African Grey etc).

Old lad on my road once told me that he was perplexed how his Westie kept on escaping the garden (high wall/gate padlocked etc). Then one day a neighbour spotted the dog using a gap between a small tree in the garden and the wall to hoist himself up and over.

Having a joke at the expense of a dead Parrot and grieving owners.
    Should have known you gits.

There was a thread on Pistonheads once. An absolute classic. Poster had found a dead cat on his drive and asked for advice on what to do with it. Some of the responses were pure comedy. Hang on….Now this is insensitive!!

slowjo surely your mate could have brought a civil action against the owners for costs/repairs?

I almost knocked down two men last night on a three lane/40mph road. The idiots were in the process of legging it across as I was changing lanes/shoulder-checking. Luckily I looked back at the last moment and just missed them. There are continuous railing on this stretch and believe me, if I had hit them I would have checked my legal cover for partial-full liability of the pedestrians. GF said thats callous thinking but then, it wouldnt have been all my fault considering the idiots were reckless.

Slightly OT- Reminds me of the time that I burst into the pub on a Sat night and said to my mates ‘theres a huge African Parrot in the bush outside’ (que gags/lafs about drugs/drink).

Poor Parrot stayed there all night (frosty night) as RSPCA/etc etc werent interested :(

winter blues in Manchester? try living in Norway FFS.

Try living in Manchester 365 days a year. FFS I’m trying to talk our lass into moving to Outlane, she wont have it :(

If you find it difficult to mentally motive yourself to run every lunchtime just pop into HMV, swipe a CD then run out of the door. The Security Guards should give up after a few hundred yards but progressively they will get fitter and fitter as well thus helping to push you further.

Either that or call someone a **** in the Arndale centre every lunchtime.

When Schummacher broke down in tears in a post-race conference I did warm alittle. A tiny glimpse of the pressure that he faced.

Hamilton is scarily quick when he focuses. I think when he does move to Ferrari he’ll become more complete with exposure to company approach/management-style

Boring. 2009. Hamilton wallops all comers, still isnt popular in England (as no punters can identify with a successful coloured-lad (unless hes foreign then they can offer faint-praise).

Well I’d hardly want him saying ‘2hours? That is mere-minutes to you my Stallion-friend’! :-)

Binners. It is true. They used to call me ‘The Klashnikov’. Only because I used to like standing up and pray’n’spray

Is this past the levels of decency yet?

Have a hot bath, missus has a hot bath. Then both have carnal fun for a couple of hours. Call me basic but surely that clears the blues away?

If it helps- plan a mtb holiday in Spain now to leave in 3 weeks. You will be tied up with your checklists etc etc and wont even notice the cold here.

simon_f_barnes – that photo is very very wrong. Grown men in tights even on this well endowed chap (Not safe for some peoples work but its not nude- hence I posted the link and NOT the image itself):

5thElefant – shes normal? She had a firm idea of what she wanted which swung wildly from house to house. You could tell both presenters were at the end of their tethers. The couple from the week before were saints compared IMO.

Remember, they wanted (ideally) a house that was set back from the road, in a quite, wide leafy suburb with prospects to renovate and extend the rear.

Then they went away and chose themselves a house that was 50k over the top of their budget, on a busy road with a tiny kitchen in a house that was already finished. They offered 50k under! No wonder Kirsty let her temper slip.

I watched a bit of Icetruckers- it wasnt good- I turned over from that.

Shot on a tight budget as well? Kinda adds to the appeal. The baby on the ceiling looked low-quality
