Seems a bit muddy to me, and a little to bitter. Agree. Will look up Stoners recommendations.

Its nothing special. I’ve heard that Brants launching a fem-fresh and dirty sort of range. There is going to be one called the onPinkone, potbrown, brownstar and onupone. Bloody Cover-copist.

Done. for cold water it still (on the tiny ring) heated up fairly quickly. I can taste the coffee now (depth) and the coffees awful.

Recommendations for (ground) coffee muchly appreciated!

Right, will do. I stopped compressing the coffee down when I binned my old Gaggia maker.

There were ‘deadspots’ that I thought the Architects could have utilised better and the stairway was hidieous. It would have been better going for a standard lookatusmodern glass walkway and in parts it definitely looked like a vistors centre but the back living area was mental! Get some creeping vines growing on the frontage and it will be stunning. I was utterly cringing at the begining- some foundations above ground level etc and thought the programme was going to be a car-wreck of ‘we are trying to extend a loan/mortgage etc’.

Why would anyone buy a Vauxhall? At least you have some sort of steering feel/road feedback than the over-assisted (numb) electric steering of Vauxhalls

Coolhandluke, I’d take into three Specialist garages for quotes then decide what to do.

Just googled em on a LondonSS site- If its the Gearie tour one -perfecto (need one with a mech hanger)- if its trackie tho- no good :(

I’ve already got the Fuji trackbike for mincing so will have to wait for the Clubman SL’s back in stock otherwise..

Buy them from your friendly neighbourhood LBS as they will charge you a friendly £450.

Or buy for £259 online and follow the very easy instructions that Flooks will send you. It is so simply that I managed to swap the spring 8)

I have a set of 2005 Pike SL’s on mine (also from Winstanleys recently!). Pikes can be wound up and down. Otherwise a set of WORKING Mazz 55’s????

Will someone PLEASE buy those Pike Race’s from Winstanleys- they are alot better quality than the 409/426’s. Better decals and paint finish!

As long as its not like the Evilbikes bollocks. That was/is seriously cringeworthy.

Photos of ‘dudes’, pork pie hat, ‘cool’, some marketing-trying-to-sound-dude speak. Oh awful. Its almost like someones Dad trying to sound hip. Hey Im no spring chicken but it sounds contrived (the right word?)

I did worry alittle when I started reading this thread as I’m awaiting his full-susser with baited breath (well as long as its a sub4inch short travel/long fork capable steed)…hint hint!

Brant does need a bigger shed though, when I was down there he had a few bike frames propped against his Dads Mower.

My choice though would be a Toyota hiAce. Totally underated here in the UK where everyone goes for the bigger capacity transit or AGNI Transporters (vastly overpriced cos thier popular) ;)

You can pick up a 03/04 for 3k with under average miles. Just dont buy one in Black or dark grey tho! (cough body carrier)

tarka the rotter and redthunder win. I’ve got my 91 F1 on the table here- keep meaning to send it off to fix. Don’t care if it did cost a 100quid to sort out. Thing is, at the time the face seemed ‘large’. Now it looks sooo diddy compared to modern mens watches!

redtunder, love that watch – so simple yet so stated. Where can I pick up one? Whats it called?

I also recently found a mint G-Shock that I bought 10yrs ago. New battery then ready to go. Other than that my faithful Suunto S3 (on its third stgrap)- I can’t do fancy watches. I BREAK them

The sign on the way into Calderdale does read

    ‘Bringing families even closer together’

On the approach to Huddersfield – the signs been nicked for scrap.

andy- he said if the cars out of warranty its tough-titty.

Yes I talk more than the taxi drivers – I talk to every singleone to death about their cars mileage, their thoughts etc. I bet some must think ‘oh shut up you loon’…others think wahay! At last a punter who wants to talk!

So essentially your going from a car you know and are happy with to a old car with an unknown history to you? What if you have to start flinging money at a lemon? True, major problems can suddenly occur with no warnings on any car but on the balance of things I’d stuck with yours. A taxi driver who once picked me up told me that theres a known problem on the TDCI (he has a mondeo estate) that can happen and it costs 700quid atime to fix- I think its linked to the clutch? Hes had it happen twice (of course he is a taxi driver!)

Do’h just seen the above- thats it! :)

    Stick with the Passat.

Its just off the Pennine way so cyclable- although you’d have to walk/carry the bike for the last bit?

I dont think you can cycle to it- you have to walk. If someone knows the GPS co-ordinates of this I’d muchly appreciate.
