Love the way people on here try to make themselves look super intelligent by putting the opposite view across. Ha ha

Its about remembering those that died on all sides. Not whether it as wrong or right.
Its important we dont forget it reminds us of the horror.

Stop using it to big yourself up with your abstract self important twaddle

I snapped a Tomac Omen 4x frame a few years back after 8 months. Landed a step down and both stays behind the bottom bracket broke clean through.

But it’s important that things like this are shared. Twitter is an uncontrolled media where people post thoughts quickly without real consideration of what they are saying. So people actually post there real feelings and thoughts.

If cycling and safety is to be improved then these type of posts should be shared. It gives a greater understanding and can be used as a valuable tool to combat these attitudes.

    Both good tyres.

HD gives a more rounded profile and seems to grip at any angle. Copes ok with mud as long as its not really sticky. Rolls ok. Go for trailstar on the front. Knobbles on the outta edges tend to rip off as the tyre ages.

HR 2 rolls a little better. Is great for slamming into corners. Wears well depending on compound. Go for exo’s as they have stiffer sidewalls. Good in mud.

Either are good and this is only my opinion. Go for the one that you can get for the cheapest. Schwalbe seem tilo be cheaper on the german shop sites.

Yes it does in all sorts of time gaps. You plug the camera in to a pc and make all the change on there

    Mobius camera

    got mine from joovuu

size of a match box, weighs next to nothing and has 1080 hd.

Also now has waterproof box for £20 extra

Velcro mine to my helmet and can do for normal rides without looking like a go pro teletubby . Without the waterproof case you can hardly notice it.

Look, we’ve all got something to contribute to this discussion. And I think what you should contribute from now on is silence. Rimmer

I probably will change the route little now. There is a parallel minor road a few fields over which I’ll probably start using even though it has a climb in it.

I have a Mobius camera for riding off road that has been great. Its the size of a match box and now they do a waterproof cover that makes it a little bigger. Think I’m going to start using this.

I have various things over the years but nothing quite like this!

No, happened way to fast. I work in Road Safety delivering education and work with several police traffic officers. If I had a camera I would be over there right now! Going to get a tiny camera I think.

When I have to stop with other traffic to let someone cycle across a pedestrian crossing and up onto the pavement. Pees me right off

Everyone moans about dog owners but what bugs me is cats that deposit in my garden!!! Its my garden, I wouldn’t let my dog do it in someones garden.

Cats are for pet owners who cant be arsed with looking after a pet properly.

Majority of dog owners are responsible but as with most things the minority are bad.

I read somewhere today that if you took his victory away from one of the tdf years he won you would have to go back to 23rd to award the win to someone not linked to drugs.

Pretty ugly sport all round. But he was the worst.

I’ll try and find the article.

Extremely dangerous and disgusting from a company hiring out vehicles. That is a basic safety check and there is no excuse. If they miss that then god knows what else is poorly maintained.

Do not use it and find another hirer. If you want to complain dial 101 and complain to the police.

Had a 06 SWB transit for 6 years now. Its on 145K and all i have had to replace is the alternator.

Had good service record when bought, service it every year and just keeps going. Infact just passed its MOT again this week with no advisories.

Self convert into camper with enough room for two bikes across the back (wider than vw) Got 6 foot double bed, cooker & sink.

The only negative for transits is the rust. I spend a couple of days anually just treating & touching it up and thats enough for it to still look great. Used as my everyday vehicle and love it. Don’t quite understand the VW camper thing, they look nice but not really bothered about that. From what i can see they are just too small inside to do what i want. Can’t see the point in a campervan if you have a bike rack on the back. But thats just my opinion.

As with most vans, check the service record.

    Sounds tough.

Just think….this is your life, everyday that passes feeling like that is a day you wont get back. Cut your losses and go. You’ll be ok and it’ll be the best thing you ever did.

In the words of the sports brand “just do it” and start enjoying life.

Oh and if you do what rorschach said make sure he’s wearing them.

Anyone got any recent riding videos from the mobius?

Tempted because of its size. All others are just too big for me.

I have two boxes delivered to home a week for three years …which I take to work. Yes I could buy some of the ingredients for cheaper but wouldn’t get the variety, it’s not just nuts.

I generally eat all day and it stops me eating crap. (I’m not fat either)

To get the range and variety of food I would have to spend a fortune on packs and store them. I also get to try slot of things I wouldn’t normally eat which adds to a varied diet.

There’s a van round here with “BRIAN’S WELL HUNG”‘ then in smaller text underneath “garage doors” makes me chuckle everytime I see it.

Purchase cheap bearings off ebay. (Got 10 for 12quid). Open seals and put extra grease in. Tap out old bearings with a screwdriver and hammer. Press in new ones with home made press. (Long bolt, 2 nuts and large pladtic washers). Done this several times and takes 10mins. Ebay bearings last at least 6 months so enough for 2-3 years.

Pay cut and less time for hobbies…sounds terrible.

Work for me has always been about the money and work/life balance. Would you be more unhappy after you’ve settled in and realised you can’t do the stuff you used to do. Also you’re hoping the new place may be abut like the old one but it probably won’t.

I work in the road safety arena and will be interested to see how this pans out. Its bound to be jokey, but hoping it has a positive stance. I have faith.

I like him and miss the whole team behind the breakfast show. They were good days and made me laugh many a morning on the way to work. I never could see why he winds people up so much. I mean if you don’t like something then don’t listen to it. Why get so angry about him which many people do/did….I guess some people are just angry about life.
