Always like Jared, one of the most talented riders out there. Bet if he turned his hand to Road he would do pretty well.

Nice to see an honest pro and also interesting to see Specialized letting him choose his own kit. You can trust that he chooses kit that is right for the job, no marketing bull.

Surprised he’s on rockshox and not flying the Ohlins flag but I guess rockshox probably offer more support and sponsorship on the blackbox programme. But then he may prefer rs.

Dont the dvla just scrap old cars that are not claimed for anyway? I know the police do as they give them to the local fire service for training purposes.

Knife carrying, badly dressed waiste of oxygen right there. Imagine what he is actually like in real life.

Of all the hydration packs I’ve owned I am now on my second camelback charge lr. Great as the water sits in the lumber of your back lowering the centre of gravity and also reduces the pack riding up towards your shoulders on steep descents. Back remains a little cooler as the water isn’t covering your whole back.

Also have a bumbag with 1 litre reservoir for summer rides. I take a 750mil water bottle aswell if it’s a long ride. It doesn’t move around and fits snug. It was only £25, can’t remember what it’s called. Will have a look when home if your interested. But that depends if you care about the “bumbag” image.

My Rc3+ has developed a significant knock when in full open mode. Had it since sept and it was fine. In both climbing and mid setting it’s smooth, flip to fully open and its there.

Emailed rockshox who said it could be the rebound pin sticking. Suggested I turn rebound fully open and bounce up and down on bike to try and release it. Everytime I do this it disappears. Then if I leave it untouched for a few days it comes back. Weird.

Jam Bo, watch mjb’s first link.

My vid – OK the back wheels locked but it’s a fast, steep 90 degree turn that you would need to be going very slow round not to need to lock (probably impossible to not lock on the gradient) The bars still turn to the left causing a lean to the corner followed by the steer in the correct direction.

We all use that technique it’s just not that we’re probably aware of it. When we watch videos we notice it and think why don’t I do that! But we all do, mjb’s vid shows that.

And there are two perfect examples of what I meant by overthinking it all. Seriously chill out its just a film. (for kids)

Maybe the film needs some Trolls in it. Then you’d be happy ;-)

    Great film, loved it.

I think some people are slightly over thinking the film. George has always said he makes films for kids and so does Disney. Its a total fun fest, loved it.

Looking too deeply into the scenes and holes in the plots kinda means your missing the point and taking it all just a little bit too serious.

Mine took about 18 months to fully go. Mine was bad and I couldn’t stand up and pedal, my leg would just kind of flop over the top of the pedal stroke. I used to race 4x and spent alot of time in the gym doing leg weights and pretty sure that’s what caused it. I actually solved it in the end by purchasing a road bike and going for long rides just spinning. It seemed to loosen everything up over about 3 months. Very frustrating.

Deep massage was good, used to do alot myself. Really going deep into the muscles of legs and butt. Anywhere that was sore or tight and it worked.

Not saying yours will take that long. And hope it doesn’t

Until they become very popular and are banned from certain types of trail – bridleways, trail centres, bike parks. Then they will be treated like motorbikes and only allowed on very restricted areas.

Of course they will still be ridden but it will reduce the appeal. When I started on Mountain bikes in the 80’s they really weren’t very well tolerated and it’s been many years of progress and acceptance to get where we are today.

Start whizzing around on electric bikes all over the place and there’s going to be real upset.

Which will be a shame as in my 40’s now and do consider the electric bike could be very handy as I get older and may extend my riding time.

    What length travel are they?

Rockshox forks when unweighted can feel like that as the stanchions are at full extension and close to the bushings. When weighted/being ridden this goes away.

    Are they 120 travel?

Get a house alarm system and put one of the sensors in the garage. That way you’ll definitely wake up. I have had two yale systems in both properties I’ve owned and they have been faultless. All wireless diy fit and easy to do.

Alot of house burglaries are when people are in. My house is alarmed at night.we can go downstairs, through Hall into kitchen without needing to unset. Have PIR’S in garage, shed, living room, back room and door sensors on both back doors and front door.

Make sure you lock the bikes to something secure then hopefully the alarm and the inability to just grab will prevent them

Techmoan.com – best reviews of low cost cameras.

I recommend Möbius, size of matchbox and gives a great image. Also has waterproof box.

His sight has video reviews, his recommended cameras and links to places to buy.

Used it to repair ripped saddles. Moulds in perfectly

    Cable rubbing points,

Also on the back of the seatpost where it inserts the frame to stop water getting in.

You buy a 650b when you want to be somebody.

You buy a 29er when you know who you are.

As with most things in life it’s an image thing. Pretty sure 29ers are seen as abit square and 650b are sexy.

SKY – Free new box, free installation, better package at reduced price and £100 credit on the account when we went to cancel last month. (Our old box was 10 years olds and was going wrong)

Go on BT and find the package you like, go through top cashback and tell sky what you are getting – At the time I would have got £150 cashback, BT infinity, BT Box, £50 Sainsbury card and bt package. open it on the laptop so you can quote from the bt site. Bingo they gave me the above. Had no intention of leaving.

New box is soooo much better than the old ones

My spesh Enduro has the auto sag valve. Pump to 275psi and press valve….30% sag. It works spot on. (I then add a few psi as I like to run it a little harder) I’m 13 stone so surprised some are going over 300.mine drops to about 190 with autosag.
It must be to do with different leverage ratios on different frame designs.

Good to see they are all ok.

Dishwashers, washing machines and dryers cause lots of fires. They should never be on overnight and never when nobody is at home.

Also make sure you have working smoke alarms fitted.

I work in the home fire prevention department of the fire service. Home appilances are common cause of fires.
