I gave up on game consoles a good few years back because they were getting too sophisticated and hectic gameplay which was all to realistic.

What ever happened to old skool gaming products that were entertaining and enjoyable rather than in depth and completely twisted fast paced without any traditional plot.

I use to get on well with the N64 donkey kong, golden eye, wave racer and xbox original with the punsiher great game and max payne.
Never to be seen again as decent old skool gaming play time I’m afraid.

As for the console for kids, it surely has to be Wii due to it’s family friendly take on gaming.

mate of mine is called spanner.
due to a gay guy he used to work with fancying him, we all joked that when he saw spanner his nuts would tighten.

    First reply to tickle me.

Good call op, I may have to invest in a crate of this stuff 😆

The thing about original source is, it smells great but slips off your hands which never reaches the balls area and off down the plug hole it goes.

It sounded good but why the sodding #### do people who set these tasks feel the need to get funded by strangers to complete or even attempt their own personal challenge.

I have 6 stone to lose to get down to what I want to be but I sure am not going to do it for the love of other people’s money and the vanity of social media for pity’s sake.

It does to me at least feel that my 29er hardtail would feel nervy if I took it to the rough trails if I had the nerve.

Where as my 26er full suss feels perfect for a fair bit of rough.

I really gelled with my rigid dirty harry mind, it blew me away literally off the bike nearly it was silly light, got up to speed double quick and felt all around fantastic.

It is however taking me some time to adjust to ti 29er whether that be down to it being ss and pushing a hard gear ratio…
But it’s early days, it certainly is not flexy.

I remember doing my paper round on a 29er and noticed my pay per hour increased 😉

Salsa are good for me in the past due to having broken fingers therefore much easier to undo and do up.

I now use a DT Swiss rws one and find them to be very good.

    Shimano are the standard though.

Hope are bloody faff and ripp your bloody fingers off.
All the rest are just a fadd and gimics i.e. enve, kcnc, mavic etc etc.

I am new to Guide RSCs and like them a lot so far but time will be the tester.

What is the feature that is ultimate I wonder?

So he wants circa £600 for his titanium Lynskey frame.

Tbh that’s a good price, or look at alloy or steel if you cannot find a viable way into riding ti.

That only happens to mincers that drag the rear brake and over heat the rotor.

This, well that is what is causing mine in the past on an old set.

LMAO @ DezB, – very good wit.

I’d nominate Ton for reaching over a ton in miles that has given me the courage to ride further and further and even harder on the ss.

But it was a rock lobster where it square tubing was used on the front triangle therefore inherently weaker tube shape.
That frame should never of made the market imo, hideous design.

Yes a 5″ 6s or 7 would do spot on size wise.

As for the fair trade and ethics over production of these items, I was perhaps naive when I rushed to get a new phone for a trip that I needed that instant, the guys in the o2 store even let me finish up after closing time as it was urgent I had a moby on a network with good signal coverage where I was travelling.
It was only 2yrs later when I saw the documentary on how poorly etc that these factory workers are submitted to that I thought differently on the whole Apple thing.

I also used to have an ipad 3rd gen as my home set up.
I found my 5 to be excellent on battery even if at times I was charging 5 times a day to keep it topped up and lasted a hell of a long time and is still going strong with it’s new owner.

It just seems to be a simple enough interface and smooth software operating system and not patronising all of the time.
I think that’s one of the reasons why Apple products have succeeded, a no nonsense smartphone and without too many glitches.

So it will certainly be interesting if the price increases for the new coming iphone due to it’s inherent cost in manufacturing with 7000 series alloy.

Let’s see, tbh the least they could do is decrease the rrp by 25% and pay their staff in factories a 30% rise and keep everyone happy. I mean they’d hardly notice a difference to their total profit per annum.

I know it’s not comparable but my first bluetooth speaker was a Tecknika £20 jobby and that battery literally lasted a week on full KAPOW! or half week playing a for a fair few hours every day.

The Bose lasts 6hrs or so on near to full KAPOW! but it kicks out the sound much more incremental if that makes sense.

    totally depends on your budget.

Nothing will beat the Bose soundlink mini as I use to own both iphone and that.

    worked great as a combo.

A pedal does not need to be tightened that much in all fairness and should have been grease so it never seizes the thread.

Your friend paid them for a product and service, and service is what they should have got right but now it is them that need to be offering customer service to resolve issue.

    end of.

I seem to remember Leisurelakesbikes installing my pedals on my new ride with PTFE tape, complete incompetence. To say I was surprised and pissed off was an understatement.

Even I knew what PTFE tape was and what it’s intended use at the age of 18 😆

Princetown jail up on Dartmoor, fascinated me as kid how intricate the workmanship on their makeshift tools were. If only they put as much effort into their lives before they got nicked.
