Sure it’s usually within 2hrs they say and works instantly for me every time.
But guessing because of the sizeable amount, it’s different but for what exact reason..?

    It’s not a credit card fyi. 🙂

and yes I realise it’s not a working day today or tomorrow.

Ahhhh Classic, I remember my mum once bathing one of our cats to then find it pissing all over her mid air with daggers out ready to claw anyone in her way.

(disclaimer) – cats were bathed once a year in summer. 😀

edit) should of said something like a morning glory. 🙄

That bish bash bosher looks a reet good contender to the Salsa Cutthroat all going well…

I gotta agree to some degree with duckman regarding their attitude towards stock and selling tactics, they are a bit weird like that.

Perhaps if I were to have kept my Dirty Harry for longer, I would have perhaps found out their true CS.
Then again, they seem to be cheery enough and were really helpful when it came to the sale and doing me an even better deal on it at the time.

If the Bish Bash Bosh has hydraulic brakes and carbon frame/fork in that orange with carbon cranks then it’s a goer for me but only if they send me it out to test ride first, then sell to me as an ex demo 😉

Find that a bit dull myself

Bikes don’t always have to have shouty x100 MASSIVE TREK stickers on it.

errrr it certainly wouldn’t be one which you had to cycle, it would more than likely be a big single cylinder dirtbike.

Like another has mentioned above, I too am not in the complete know when it comes to road going bike specs but something is really nagging at me when I came across it on ebay that he is in cuckoo land to then be removing the wheels as well.

Have you seen the £2500 one on gagabay excluding wheels 🙄

He’d be very lucky to reach £800 without wheels imo and I’m a Litespeed fan when it comes to their off road segment hard tails.

Wow! Parksie, ya sure must be a happy chappy!

Makes me almost want to try a Cannondale, I always fancied an ELO Lefty back in the day, they looked impressive when their paint schemes were funkadelik.

Could be anywhere between £150 to £250, just depends on the day and right buyer.

I sold a set of mint Z2 cherry red bombers for £60 once, they were £700 odd new.
So don’t expect to make loadsa moolah.

If we were talking original spec which was actually mint then yes, £300 might be achievable, but again all depends on the day.

Surely a greggs pasty would suffice, would it not?

I hear an also guess that the Vipr should offer good midstroke and is the simplest of the shocks for adjustments.

Can’t stop however thinking it’s the CCDB inline shock you’re needing though after like you say magazine marketing hype.

I have no experience of either, but just make do with my RPL shock and pump more psi in to counteract the unwanted blow through travel feeling, but guessing I can get away with that as the suspension system I use is very active in the initial stages of compression anyway.

This info probably won’t help much, ahhhh **** it if Bos forks are anything to go by, I would choose a VIPr.

@ Vortexracing – how are you finding the dizzy forks?
How do you rate the 15mm lever dropout system?
    Plushness?

They’re rather good aren’t they but still not as plush as my Devilles, still I think I may have too much psi in the dizzys.

Didn’t On-One used to offer a ‘congratulations on winning this bike in our competition’ certificate for about a fiver?

Well it’s not like OO wouldn’t miss a beat on charging for it. 😛

I was just gonna link same as I purchased these and got them delivered next day for no extra charge. That’s the only gripe with Merlin is, is that they always send kit out with defects for me at least ime.

A reet bargain they are too, apart from the fact they came with paint scratched off on side profile of rim and they are apparently a pain to lace up due to the white paint when nipping up the nipples.

They also look wheely wheely noice.

Lol, I like the frame, it’s nice’ish but not £1355 nice.

Still as long as it wasn’t a Litespeed ay 🙄

So enlighten us as to how much it weighs then fella?

I pretty much did carry on but felt a bit weirded out by it as it’s never happened before apart from being hit by a golfer up at painswick beacon for riding on the pathway on the side of course.

I was on the route which I don’t usually follow as per the one that I rode with with bigfoot guys/gals once.

It was the other side of the race track for reference. I was riding further towards Birdlip.

I never once saw signs but know of the bikes on trees paint further down towards Cranham.

As someone who dislikes older incarnations of RS forks as they always came with faults that needed warranty work from new, I believe like most that RS are now sorted.

However I have just made the transition from X-Fusion to Bos Devilles and Bos Dizzys and gotta say, there is most definitely night and day feeling between them.

I would say if the Bos kit straight swaps over to your new frame then do it!
But then again, you could also give RS a go and join that following.
In the future, picking new forks and shocks would be a really tough choice imo as things have moved leaps and bounds over recent years so expect even more progress perhaps in that dept.

Only you can make the final call though, choose wisely and you shall jump far (Jedi voice)

    Steerer tube of fork perhaps?
A mere guess different to those above.

I honestly don’t understand the consensus of folk on stw who say that 27.5″ are just a marketing fad and that they prefer their 26ers when in fact they fall into the trap of purchasing a new 27.5″ bike…?

    Contradiction in terms right.

I’d like to think that 26ers definitely still have their place as they handle well and don’t feel too cumbersome.
Plus what’s a slight increase in wheel size really have to offer for pity’s sake.

If it has a good spec and is desirable bike brand and model then it will demand good money when put up for sale.
It all depends on if it was and still is a good bike to buy regardless of the wheel size at a guess.

I’d rather keep my 26er full suss pimped to the max then sell for a huge loss just because potential buyer was ummming and arrrghing over buying a new fad 27.5″ bike.

Oh and to answer your op question further on what time of year, late spring at a good guess.

Looks good, you’ve only got to look at a Salsa Mukluk for example to see that the OO Fatty is a #### hot deal.

Plus Guide brakes are fantastic pieces of kit so far for me at least.
