Anything but a KTM- they’re riddled with fuelling issues.

Out of your list the Triumph or Go custom route if wanting to take things easy.

Personally for me nothing handles better than a supermoto but can get you into trouble, thankfully I didn’t!
SM’s seem to be logical way these days for road conditions. I had a couple of big single cylinder SM’s oh and a poxy 400 drz but we won’t talk about that lol

I had pro 3 SPs with the 6 bolt disc fitment.

    Nothing bad to report here!

They were built onto Dt swiss xr4.2 rims and didn’t appear to be too light.

The SP bit is meant to be stiffer spoke tension but spokes are probably harder to get hold of in an emergency rebuild situation.

Get an okd seat post and cut (hacksaw) 4 2 inch sections straight then prize open so it will fit around cups inside headtube after filing down sharp edges of course.

Then place inside headtube tapping out equal amounts around the cup.

Bobs your uncle and fannys your aunt!

I had a set of mono mini pros that did that. Faded to nothing not even a little clemch of braking power whatsoever.

Go Shimano and feel the on/off revolution.

What I don’t fully understand is why govt decided to put vat up when it should gave gone down to increase spending and growth to bring in probably wayyyy more govt income from business’

I voted tactically last time round and chose not to vote this time round in the strong belief there is no good option of a bad lot of stinking eggs.

They’re trying to pull off new young voters to their party but only for short term temporary policies which even then they don’t have to stick to going through with.

Shame in you tory elite scuzzbuckets

Op did state 18 months which sounds like a good innings and time for a service.

I’ll stick with my trusty thomson.

Had a faulty shock pump on second attempt of using which came with my forks.

Guy at upgrades didn’t seem to fussed and wanting proof I purchased the forks which were part of a custom build.

I didn’t bother sending it back in the end.
They sounded tbh too much hassle…

For once I am going to praise RS and say I still will just rely on that pump which was lucky I found it in spares box as I gave away my old no named one which never let me down in 10 hard yrs or so service.

They just don’t make em like they use to ay!
Either that or you must be a ten ton heavy thing depending on a hydraulic post. Never good together … ;-d

Is it usual for spokes to twang and make noise as I use DT Swiss aerobladed ones with those coloured alloy nipples.

Does it count if it were off road!? :-d

Guessing you’re mostly defining your max speeds on mtb by going onroad down a hill.

Well in that case I have achieved 44 mph down a short hill “on road” so a mph for every lb in bike weight.
    With a 36T ring.

Pretty sure I over took a mini cooper or reliant robin as can remember it feeling a bit odd. Not sure why…
