Well 15mm axles are 15mm axles, take your pick of fork and yes they are worth it.

Imo I miss 20mm, even back in ’99 I had a 20mm axle on my do it all bike no word of a lie.

Is it really £100 per rim now- blimey that’s cheap! They must surely be cutting some kind of corner(s).

It’s actually worth the op getting their strongest looking option at that price.
Not sure if I’d have confidence in beadless rims mind.
Aren’t beadless for tubeless setups mind?

There is only one true seatclamp and that sir is a Salsa in whatever colour and type/size you require.

I would purely out of interest say Ibis wide ass rims if you can cut a deal on a set.

Or possibly check out my DT Swiss EXC 1550 wheelset for sale.

It depends if you want to go fat ass tyres with even more tread to ground contact or if wanting more conventional looking and also practicle looking rims.

Personally I’m not a fan of Enve due to the deep rim look. Perhaps yes for a roadbike.

Wooops! Now I seen page 1 towards end. Yes they are fine apart from being Easton lol.

It’s called uni directional gloss carbon. It’s actually the nicest finish that comes on carbon. Except matt carbon frames.

    It’s like on my rims.

Just to be a cynic here but have you seen how good fake Nikes are. The youtube videos make me cringe how real and copied to the max (pun intended) they are.

I wonder what all the hype is refarding Oakley kit especially their glasses.

I’m more than happy with a set of 3 lense kit golfing glasses for cycling.
Maybe I am getting old and cynical but I would steer clear of any Oakley product whether fake or real.
They scream I’m a bummer! That I drive round in a L200 and all that jazz.

    Why…?

Again crc are not alone in doing this. Imagine my disgust after spending £500 on a set of 36’s to from Cycle Surgery to find that they have been used and clunk on compression and that I waited extea long time just being fobbed off that they needed to be sent from one place to another then themselves to be sent.

    Oh how naive I was.

Merlin also did same with a set of avid ultimates which had broken lever clamps.

    It’s just not cricket!

No doubt you’ll be definitely wanting something quick uphill focused as have you seen Devonshire hills!

Plus you may have extra visibility around the roads from being on a 29er ;-d

Salsa are the bees knees if qr front and rear is your thang.

Just sold a useless new style rear hope.

Went to a DT Swiss RWS 10mm qr axle which is the one that bloke in the link talks about.
They’re good and well thought out I reckon.

If budget is key then Shimano should definitely be on the list as they’re some of the best feeling secure fitment ime.

Unfortunately have no experience of the metrics although they look the shizz and if going on my velvets is anything to go by they’re going to be decent and cheaper more reliable option.

Think yourself lucky it was only one. Every summer I find nests in my dormer bedroom window meaning a local bloke coming out to spray them and £50 down.

Still cheaper than council contracters to do it!

If in doubt talk to shop owner of bikeactive whom used to
Stock morewood heavily. He’ll no doubt offer advice on HA etc and probably hook you up with a price match as he used to be very competetive.

Errrrr two words, well four Bos Idylle SCs at £809 somewhere I know of but don’t reccomend retailer as my Fox 36s new from them arrived used and clunked.

That’s what the top end Morewoods came with anyway, the bos.

Can confirm that the ndees same fork just older name for idylle scs are buttery smooth.

Bloomin eck! I was close to buying a set of red pros a while back.

Manitous seem to have a nice stiction free damping system which I like, but could bever get over how much they required servicing or injected with m prep grease.

My ACE shorts are well… 😀

Sombrio shorts are the toughest material known to the clothing world I have found as I have some old ones.

My Aces were £33 in sale at crc and took a punt and it turned good although why no zipped frontage?

At my local garage they sell spicy sesame peanuts made by a genie who smokes a lot of herb by looks of packaging.

Personally find that cheesecake tastes like sour milk tgat makes your stomach fill up too quick
    And turn funny.
Although I had a slice of Tesco finest madgascan vanilla yesterday and it was scrummy.

Yes that lotus spread is really addictive. The crunchy one but have restrained by only having had one tub in my life.

There’s also marshmallow spread which is weird in a candyfloss kinda way.
