I do it regularly, Sunday just gone in fact
You can’t just turn up anymore and the App is pretty useless. I work shift and booking an appointment that far in advance is very difficult
Not their fault, cutbacks I guess

I have a 66 plate one, there’s a reason you see so many on the roads

Yep they may be a bit bland but they do what it’s says on the tin

Zero tolerance, fight fire with fire. It’s the only way the under funded police can even begin to get crime under control

As above, I wait all year for Costco to release theirs.

We buy loads and freeze them

Ed did indeed walk alongside the river (where possible) quite a feat and not a bad read

So he’s failed to reach agreement with Intu landlords over four House of Frazer stores which he’ll now close

Doesn’t look good for my local Evans at Lakeside then

Blade sampling is time consuming for sure and not something I actually got too involved in, however,  blades do vary enormously and  razor/skin types play a huge part

    Holyzeus

That’s crap IMO, use them lots

^^^^^This, always use hydration tablets, throughly rinse out and straight in the freezer.

Current one is nearly four years, think I used Milton in it a couple years ago but not 100% sure

I only  use aggressive DE razors and can still shave quicker than if using cartridge razors

Once you get the hang of it it’s all good (technique)

I would personally stay away from Feathers

Crap on the first use, brilliant on the second and then you have to throw away, also slightly more expensive than other blades

It’s all about finding what’s right for you

i don’t use pre shave oil and use sharp blades in very aggressive razors, two passes, minimal buffing and I get a DFS

Two months to replace a valve?

I’m an Oil Process Operator and struggling to see how or more importantly why they would want it to take that long

I ordered a Hope front brake in store on Monday night using Clubcard vouchers i’d arranged on Friday, picked it up yesterday. The Sram clamp was out of stock so cancelled that

As I had quite a bit of money left on the vouchers as well as a Evans giftcard I ordered the matching rear, hopefully it arrives before any deadline

i spoke to the same chap both nights and management are telling them the £10m is wanted for new stores!

    What’s holding them ridge on..?

Find your nearest reclaimed yard or roofers supplier that also does reclaimed and take that along.

You’re not gonna get any from a run of the mill supplier

Badger & Blade is a US forum and is a bit clicky

ATG is the best U.K. one

Feathers work well in some razors but have a very narrow band, harsh on the first use, perfect for the second and that’s it

Loads of decent blades about, Nacets, Gillette Blacks and Silver Blues, Rapiras and Vokshods are my faves
