I bought one on the cycle to work scheme and it has been awesome,

the only thing I would change is buy the version with the tubeless tyres and remember to take an Allen key as you’ll need it to take the wheel off

I would definitely do camping, I used to do camping holidays with my son for 10 days and we still have fond memories of it now

they grow up so quickly so doing it at this age is perfect and as he got older we got electrical hookup and a bigger tent

@tpbiker I read your post about the relationship and holiday and felt you’re brave to open yourself up when it feels so raw about it to you.

I have no skin in the game on this and we don’t know each other but if you need to reach out please feel free to do so

Could it be that you’re on the same channel as a nearby router for Wi-Fi.

have you tried splitting the 2.8 and 5g Wi-Fi and see if that makes a difference

I can’t recommend the nutribullet every grain rice cooker enough , it’s £80 but does quinoa and porridge too.

I use one because I always seem to burn the rice to the pan but this cooks it perfectly

I’m sure I read somewhere that the UCI were/have banned them as Chris Froome did something on his Youtube channel about them and how it helps getting feeding right during long races

Yep 6 weeks now and still feeling shite, the symptoms have disappated but still got the cough that just won’t go.

I was going to do the festive 500 but that was impossible, not sleeping properly because of the cough, then catnapping during the day which means I’m not sleeping at night.

Nothing seems to be touching it, sudafed, honey and ginger, fisherman’s friends !!!!!

I signed up for it a fit of stupidity autumn last year thinking it’s months away and only 3.5 weeks now.

November and December were completely wiped out with colds and flu so not nearly fit enough , so did a weeks riding in Mallorca at the end of February and desperately trying to do the Sufferfest Volcano climbing plan but know its going to be horrible.

April is a busy month as I’ve also signed up for Battle of the Beach and the Gravel Gran Fondo in the peak district too.

I have to be careful which alcohol I drink even some soft drinks as I have a terrible reaction to Sulphites which a lot of them have.

1 bottle of Magners and I have a migraine the next day the same with shipyard Pale ale. Lime cordial and ginger ale also have them in too so have to try and avoid them. It’s a bit of a lottery to be honest but the good news it means I only drink very occasionally

with regards to your card not being accepted, mine works credit card was because it was registered at the company address.

I got burnt recently by Ringo after I had stupidly put the wrong reg number on my account and not checked it. it had been like that for a couple of months, so didn’t realize until I got ticketed for it

I just decided to suck it up and chalk it up to experience, a painful lesson though
