He is a bit of a convenient scapegoat for the ‘flash crash’ after it was originally blamed on a US firm which was proved not to be the case.

Whilst what he was doing is against regulations it is highly unlikely that his trading was solely responsible for the crash (if at all given the size of other players in the market).

Do the red from the visitors centre up to Dixons hollow and take it from there.

You can either do the full red, cut across to miss the top loop of the red or cycle round to join the blue.

    Thanks Kayak,

It’s London Plane. The photo has washed it out a bit but wanted to keep it fairly pale so just using a clear polish to bring out the grain.

Much as I don’t like posting after Kayak’s wooden wonders here’s a table I made.

The old town has some interesting architecture and museums although a trip to Beverley might be a good option.

Have the Makita you mentioned and for the money (paid about £60) I am impressed although can’t compare it directly with the ones you mention.

Solidly built and stays on line reasonably well. The pendulum settings work well and make a noticeable difference. Thickest I’ve cut is 45mm hardwood and whilst not ideal it did the job.

Irwin Quick grips and 10.8v cordless drill make jobs a hell of a lot easier.

Plunge saw used less often but when I do I wonder how I managed without it.

Could you use a top guided router bit and make a template of the mortice dimensions.

Clamp this as required and it would stop you from taking chunks out.

    Thanks all.

Was to cut a narrow strip lengthwise off tiles that my scoring wheel cutter can’t handle.

Shall have to invest in a wet saw.

Why don’t all toilet doors open outwards, so that us who wash our hands can use our foot instead and avoid the dirty mingers..?

Depending on the mess its in you could use Text to Columns to separate out the numbers. Then manipulate as required and Concatenate to merge the results.
