@pk13 its solid wood with the points routed out and then filled with resin.

Veneer over ply or MDF may have been a better approach due to wood movement.

    Thanks all,

The pattern on the lid was done with a Veritas inlay tool and chisel then filled with resin.

Took ages as the grain is a bit crazy

I bought a top from cncdesign and its spot on, with the dogs cuts accurately.

As its mdf it would need to be supported so some thick ply over sawhorses would be ideal.

The nature of the markets have changed from fundamental driven to passive investing so equilibrium is maintained until the models blow up or break risk bounds.

Also the underlying thinking that if the markets (as a measure of wealth) blow up the relevant central banks will resume QE or further easy monetary policy.

    Formula along the lines of…

    =REPLACE(A1,LEN(A1),RIGHT(A1)=”;”,””)

Works but there appear to be random trailing spaces which throw it out.

Will use TRIM to tidy it up.

    Thanks all

If you are there for a day think you are pretty much spot on.

Maritime Museum followed by the Observatory (good views over London)

Wander back through the park and through the Naval College (take a look at the Painted Hall) which brings you out near the Cutty Sark.

Depending on when you are going and who you are with the market may be worth a look round.

Personally I’d leave out going on the Cutty Sark if its just for a day.

Boat down to the Thames barrier is good for the views through the Naval college up to the Observatory (or take the foot tunnel under the Thames) . Also good going into central London as you go past the old wharves in Wapping and Rotherhithe plus under Tower bridge.

Eating wise depends what you are after but there is a cheap noodle house by the Cutty Sark DLR or loads of pubs.

Didn’t Salsa use True Temper tubing?

Have a True Temper framed a la carte from about 2007 built up fully rigid.

Reminds me on my first proper MTB which was also True temper framed but the brakes now work in the wet.

Wasn’t Sansa on the way to Castle Black?

Does anyone have any advice for creating a CV to move from quite a narrow field to a more general approach.

Have tailored experience to be applicable to other fields and removed any jargon but it does seem to be a bit lacking in bite.

Will be interesting to see if he can subpoena all of the CME’s trades for the day in question and see if it was just him moving the market (I don’t know if this is public knowledge or not).

There will be a full audit trail of all trades and quote updates but I’d imagine getting this granularity out of the CME is going to be a struggle.
