I don’t know what my pressures are, I just blow them up til they feel firm enough. I usually know within a few 100 yards if I need to let some out or put more in.

if I was to guess i’d say there was about 40psi in my read and 30-35 in the front.

I rarely get pinch flats now unless I hit something really hard by accident

thanks for that, pretty much it seems it doesn’t really matter which I have but I am edging towards the MBLA. I have just renewed my First aid anyway for my climbing qualifications so no probs there. not all that intetrested in working abroad with it and I just need it for leading novices on trail centres and established bridalways.

I’m fairly sure you can lead abroad with the MBLA qual and not MIAS too, but worth checking out properly

Yeah I heard that too. The MBLA insurance covers you for europe too.

there is a nice campsite in Braithwaite at the bottom of the hill to whinlatter. its got palace-like toilets and showers for a campsite and is near to a pub. I think it was about £7.50 PP

Learn to read a map. it’s just as easy as learning how to use a GPS and has the added bonus of not running out of life at the most inopportune moment.

I wouldn’t sell my car thru them as they are offering you bottom dollar for your motor. I have a modeo estate that they valued at 3.5k. looked on Autotrader for similar cars and I could get between 5 and 6k.

its a no brainer im afraid!

I bent one of the pins that hold the pad in place and (stupidly) try to bend it back…Snap, new piston required. Not a problem – CRC had replacement pistons and seals for £6 IIRC. They are easy to fix if you brake them (see what I did there!) and very easy to bleed. They take a bit of fiddling to get them set up but I love mine. they’re very powerful (I have V8 disc on the front V6 on the back) and you can get pads quite cheap off ebay if you buy a few at once!

It’s courtesy for slower ‘traffic’ to pull over at regular intervals so to allow faster traffic to pass. This has the advantage of reducing the amount of risks some people will take when frustrated because they are being held up by some inconsiderate lycra louts thinking they are Mark Cavendish

Ibis Mojo, SC Blur ltc or Lapierre Spicy 916…..2010/2011…something like that?

What makes you think that people are willing to part with a frame like these so soon? I was thinking you were on about frames at least 4 years old!

I used to like her music but I increasingly lost interest in her as an artist as her life spiralled towards a bottomless pit of drug addiction probably brought about by the fact that she was a vulnerable person. Regardless of the persona she portrayed to the tabloids, who hounded her, probably further adding to her demise, she did not deserve to die whether she intended to or if it was something else.

I just think she deserves a bit more respect than some poeple are showing on here and on facebook etc.
put yourself in her family’s shoes you sad, ignorant people.

    RIP.

    Avoid woolly statements like that.
… Stick to things you can quantify. E.g. During my time I increased the customer base by 18% and increased total sales by 26%.

I read so many CV’s … full of clichés and general statements. Make it specific, make it quantifiable…

Thanks for that, but my understanding was that my ‘Employment History’ should contain a basic job description and I can mention what I brought to the company, in the ‘Skills and achievements’ section?

    highclimber

As neither approach says what you achieved in terms of results that impacted the bottom line.

all that information is going in the ‘skills’ section.

As per squidlord, perfectly possible to express your performance without the need to include what is effectively the obvious

thanks, I realise now that I have wasted a thread!
