anywhere around Canal St is good, we stayed in the Holiday Inn there and was plesantly surprised. I’ve also stayed in The Pod too and that was quirky but nice. Neither of these are 4*+ but were very nice places to stay.

yes you have to use Satmap’s maps, Ordnance survey rules unfortunately.

there is no way around this although I have used the Satmap for riding with and the base map that comes on it included is actually detailed enough for most riding. It will still give you your position in an 8fig GR which you can use with a paper map to determine your position.

there is no contract. the sign doesn’t say anything about you accpeting the conditions of parking there, it just says any car parking ILLEGALLY will get a charge (not a fine). How on gods earth do you park illegally on someone’s land?
