if its same as the 2009 then there are the two 26mm nuts on the fork crowns and one 8mm(?) on each leg. once these have been unfastened you then bash the bottom of each leg to release the lowers and all the oil.

you can get 316 stainless flue liner for £21/m if you look around. it has to be continuous and installed correctly according to Building regs (part j IIRC) you can either pay for installation by a self-certifying installer or do it yourself to the above standard and get Building control to come and sign it off (you have to notify them before you install)

depends on their return policy. generally places like PC world etc tend to have good return policies so you could, potentially do this so long as you satisfy their returns procedure: not used, saleable condition etc.

usually not a good idea to tell them the real reason you’re returning it for!

usually have to bash it [the axel] out with the bearing coming with it then get an 11mm hex in a vice and use the wheel turning it Counter clockwise IIRC.

The fact remains the cyclist got away scott free and the policeman was left made to look a complete incompetent with no arrest or summons served!

The cyclist is a cock though, no doubt but I think the copper should have known what he was doing before being allowed to be on cycle duty.

The Flaw. shown on more 4 the other week. very interesting.

I think that they are equally as idiotic as each other. The cyclist was trying to be a smart ass after blatantly running the light as alluded to by the copper and the copper wasn’t sure of which law he was referring to and got frustrated about being filmed being thick and lashed out. completely unprofessional IMO

don’t know about question one, but for question 2 you’ll def have to upgrade the hubs to disc compatible ones. (it’s probably cheaper to just swap your wheels for some 2nd hand ones off here).

What about the Strikers inciting hatred towards strikers by stricking?

    that’s what I was angling at. 😆

    highclimber

There seems to be a lot of people getting upset over a few words. The union leaders going as far as saying they (the Gov) should introduce a new law to prevent people saying this sort of thing as it ‘incites hatred’ towards strikers. HA!

GET A F’ing GRIP! he didn’t actually mean what he said. I think his tongue was about to bust through his sad middle-aged cheek.

If anything I think the worst part about his comments is the fact he was being rather hypocritical given his 6 figure salary!

Hi, I am slightly annoyed given that your website didn’t inform me that the product wasn’t available otherwise I would have ordered it from elsewhere. I think you should review your stock checking policy regarding online purchases to avoid people wasting their time ordering from you.
I would like to draw you attention to a thread started on Singletrackworld regarding your company. Here is the link: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/tredz-poor-performance-chaps?replies=43.

Should you decide to take heed of the experiences of your customers (if you can call them that given their orders were mostly unfulfilled) I would suggest you reply to this thread to let people know you are improving your service, lest people will continue to vote with their fingers and shop elsewhere.

    Regards

    Anthony

surprise surprise, they have just emailed me to tell me the product I ordered is out of stock. absolutely ridiculous effort to allow me to order the item in the first place!

The advert was an invitation to treat not a commitment to sell .

this is what I was referring to. not the fact that Dixons had failed to supply what they had AGREED to. I was speaking in general terms when people insist on a retailer to sell them something they have advertised at a price they didn’t intend to sell at.

    highclimber
    Free Member

Dixons need to supply you the deal they advertised, even if it was an error.

Not true im afraid. often people think this is the case – you see something advertised and the retailer HAS to sell it to them, is indeed nonsense as they don’t have to sell you anything.

it is called an invitation to treat and not a contractual obligation.

to the OP, get a refund and start again, maybe push for compensation for having to use a laundrette but I suspect they wont play ball

I looked at hiring one from HSS I think it was £17 plus any cleaning fluids for a weekend.

My mum hired a professional cleaning man for their living room and stairs and I think he charged £30 + Vat

what Teej says basically. in your current contract there will be a clause that says any changes to your contract have to be agreed by both sides.

refuse and talk to CAB, ACAS or union rep.

Brian sewell has just given a scathing critique of both the painting and the Coat of arms.
he basically said the painting doesn’t show him to be the speaker, just a commoner from essex with no lineage, he went on to explain that he’s not a tudor, he’s not a stewart…and he has the affrontary to commission a coat of arms to make himself seem equal to his peers
