it’s completely unenforceable. not to mention a waste of time and money involved in policing and appeals etc.

it’s a legal contract you enter into once the auction ends. he can pull the auction before it ends but not after. Phone ebay, Neg feedback etc.

….and it’s all because of Alan Sugar

indeed, A computer salesman who was opposed to compulsory ID cards IIRC http://road.cc/content/news/48897-lord-sugar-asks-whether-cyclists-should-have-carry-id-or-face-having-bikes

Yeah, I don’t have a long hollow bar to hand (moving house so everything is boxed and/or at the new house). gonna have to take it to parent’s house (step dad has a vice if not a long bar). it’s well on there!

You really think that was beer?

some people obviously don’t go to gigs that often!

Kasabian are awesome live. seen them a few times now. Saw them when they were supporting Oasis at their Heaton Park Gig and they were arguably better than Oasis!

Depends really on what year you’re posting from. But we’re receiving your posts in 2011, where it’s become overweight and overpriced.

weight worries are so last year. i’ll give you the price thing but only because we’re in a supposed recession.

The one in Nant Peris opposite the Vaynol arms is open all year I think. £4/night and I think i’m right in saying it gets SOME sun in the morning whereas the ones in Ogwen are ‘sheltered’ by some of the biggest mountains in wales!

we did it this summer from manchester. it took us about 12/13 hours with stops not including the ferry. I would take the Autoroutes which cost about 80 Eur going and as we came back via Geneva and on some of the more scenic roads it was about half that on the remaining auto route to Calais.

Note, if you are going Via Geneva, make sure you don’t go in the border queue for the 40chf vehicle vignette. we went in the other queue and no one checked that we had one.

if you are self catering I would highly recommend you stop at the hyper market in Sallanches as the supermarkets in Cham are massivly overpriced!

Go to Poco locos for a burger – you won’t be dissapointed!

The retailer was wrong to let you arrange a replacement. given that you have done what they told you and are awaiting for a replacement, I am unsure as to your legal standing now. I suspect that your contract with the retailer still stands. if the frame doesn’t show up and assuming you paid for it with a credit card you could feasibly make a claim under section 75 of consumer credit act.

Elfin, diffeent names where attached to different types of peeps at various times,

so do you refer to black people as N***ers? that was once an accepted word!

While agree with your sentiments, Project. I must draw an objection to use of the word ‘homo’. much better to refer to them as gay(s)

    highclimber

I have to disagree with the notion that it

would be unjust to the other gay men who suffered under the law

, the other people convicted of the same crime didn’t do what Turing did for his country – see my OP.
The theif’s crime was overlooked and he was persecuted wether it was within the law or not.

an apology doesnt cut the mustard when you consider his contribution to both ending WW2 and modern computing

if you think your credit rating is affected by fraud (usually from identity fraud not general card cloning) you can ask the credit rating company to correct the information though I doubt your problem has affected your CR.

the reason it works is because protein and fat makes you feel full quicker than carbs.

Eat a small portion of pasta – still feel hungry for about 15 mins after
Eat a similar size protien/fat meal – feel full almost after finishing.

so, you’ll lose weight but probably increase your risk of coronary disease and stroke!

    Avoiding age discrimination
Age discrimination is a relatively new addition to the list of things to consider when writing job adverts, and it is one of the biggest changes in process that most employers will have to go through in order to comply with all discrimination regulations.
The rules now not only cover stipulating upper or lower age limits for job applicants, but also implied terms such as ‘youthful’, ‘dynamic’ or ‘mature’. All these terms could be seen as excluding someone from applying for a role based on their age.

if it’s not sexist, it’s certainly ageist!

How far ahead of his time was Douglas Adams?

Ethernet, Babelfish to name a couple of things named after his ideas. He was more insightful than Arthur C Clarke IMO! certainly more humorous!

when I was 6 or 7 my dad bought me a motorcycle helmet and a tiny plastic motor bike toy. I was upset and threw a tantrum as I thought I was getting a motorbike. I calmed down and I was taken outside to play in the 2ft of snow that had fallen and stumbled upon an unopened big present from Santa.

He’d sent me a brand new 50cc Suzuki Quadbike with a full tank of petrol!!

unfortunately I had to wait until the new year when the snow melted to actually ride it for the first time. I was very very happy ….

until I crashed for the first time

I thnk they’re pulsars. Nices axes them. you seriously need to get rid of those wrist leashes and replace with a springer leash!

I’ve not had a play with the CT axes, but there’s a whole lot more going on with Quarks

I have the Quark (old style)and it is much better than anything else I have used. you might sturggle to get hold of the old ones but you can get the new ones for around £125 per axe.

if anyone’s in the snowdonia area when there’s some white stuff around, drop me an email! excited about living so close to the mountains!
