Had the same in my old place. private access road. Spaces are owned by each house. Had some number plates made for everyone ‘Private Parking No 2 Only’ on the wall/fence and numbers painted on the spaces by a council recommended contractor. Worked form us.

Hello ! time for an update.

after mucho calls and threats of legal action, they first offered to return and make right. I reminded them they that will most likely end in having the police called as the do not have a legal right to access and a insisted a responsible! person visit to access the situation.

then shock horror a virgin ‘contractor’ suddenly turns up. Blame has been put directly on the admin as they told they have the ok. Funny to as even if we ok’d the install we should be comsulted as to the route etc.

turns out the actual owner hasnt even ok’d the install to the actual house so he’s hammering them to now. Tentant has given false information virgin. etc, so many ck up’s ! but that now with the owner.
Tentent shortly to be booted !! oops !

anyways, now waiting to discuss action of either removal and compensation or some ‘sweetner’ to leave it in.

lets see what happens. Feel better now they have admitted the major ck ups and now moved to sorting it out.

and 2nd the neighbour in question is renting. Ive spoken to the owner, he’s totally miffed to, doest know anything about it and is kicking up with the agent. And ive since been told had the cable forced on her cus the agents on a back hander.

The missus asked if the call is being recorded, and put on record that we instist on removal and this must be advised advance where permission to access the property will only be given while me/wife are present. Also any costs due to time away from work etc such may be billed to them later. just to make sure they turn up !

been through this before, I planted a hedge a metre back from the end border on my garden, approved by neighbour. border line marked as his on the plans etc.

new neighbour moves in, I came home to no hedge and a 6 foot fence 1.5 metres back my side of the border, my side of the original hedge.

very politely explained and pointed out the border line. he got upset after shelling out for the fence. Council involved and he had to move it back to his side of the line and payup for the hedge and damage etc
