Also got a Superfly HT along with a trek ex with 120mm forks. Hardly ride the FS and wish I’d never bought it. Only gets used for trips to Wales, peaks etc

absolutely yay. they’re definitely a consumable though. 1 or 2 winters use is acceptable. although the planet x ones i had i reckon i got 3 winters out of. currently using enduras. they’re just about intact still on 2nd winter

Finished safely midpack around 28th. Fairly uneventful for me. Enjoyed the course, very rideable. Just wish I could pedal a bit quicker

I’ve read about people getting through a set of MTB pads in one ride. I never believed it…

..until I went to Cannock this weekend. Rear brakes completely down to the metal despite loads of life beforehand. Very grateful to Superstar and their 35% discount today 😀

Tillydog, I charged the batteries all day yesterday, then as I was getting ready to ride I had the lightbulb moment and snipped the wire off. The lights worked initially, it was only an hour later when it got dark that I realised I had possibly broke it.

Was gonna do all 3 but the venue change for rd 1 means its a bit too far for me to travel. So rds 2 and 3 for me

Not heard anything about a cafe being built but there will be a new 6 mile route called the Longslade trail.

Some of it has already been created. Think the idea is to stop the amount of cheeky trails popping up all over the shop.

Just got back from a weekend at Afan. We did Blade, Whites, Wall and Penhydd.

Blade was the least favourite by some distance. Whites and Wall were superb. Penhydd was a lot better than expected.

Don’t think he thought about it much and went straight in at the deep end
