still got mine in pretty much original config.  but haven’t ridden it since i acquired a Marin Rift Zone which is far superior when it comes to anything a little technical

the giant can be left a little wanting on rocky descents.  for local XC stuff though its still pretty much the perfect bike.  having said that i do fancy replacing it with a light hardtail

And now having seen the price increase for RGT I’ll be staying on Zwift for the forseeable future

Agree with the OP. Its the snobbery thats putting me off. Started noticing it last year when someone started talking about social clubs in a condescending way. Now see it on a lot of threads, and normally the non-bike ones.

The bike knowledge and help on here still makes me drop in on a daily basis. Hopefully that won’t change

Since i started the thread it looks to be GoPro or don’t bother. But I’d only want the black one which is more that what I wanted to pay. The Cycliq stuff looks good but all reviews say the GoPros quality is far superior.

Was initially put off by having to have it sat on top of handlebars but have since seen some Garmin/GoPro mounts which look a lot neater.

At least the GoPro will come is handy for other uses too I guess

I’ve got the same wheels and the same issue. Wheels were a few months out of warranty so Mavic weren’t interesteed. As I’ve found with most Mavic products things just don’t last.

Tried Araldite but the high temps from braking meant they came unstuck again.

In the end I bought this oven glue which is made to withstand high temps and it has worked a treat

Looking at doing a couple of WMCCL events but because I haven’t pre-registered for the league and entry is closed anyway I’d have to pay £3 on top of the £15 to enter.
