    Another Chariot Cougar owner here

I agree with what people have said regarding how good the suspension is etc but one thing nobody’s mentioned is safety, as Chariots are marketed as strollers they have to pass all sorts of European safety tests that I’d bet the £100 jobbies on Ebay don’t have, think about it, would you put your kid in an non-certified no name carseat you bought for £20 off ebay?

I think Chariot are now going to be brought into the U.K. by Madison so your LBS should be able to get them soon.

Another dad here,I’m in pieces reading this. I don’t have any wise words as nothing in my experience can come close to what you must be feeling right now. Just please don’t blame yourself.

My ten month old boy is getting the hug of his life when he wakes up.

Shirley Manson from Garbage and Aja Volkman from Nico Vega, though for very different reasons.

That’s quite some haul, your son must be spitting tacks.

Make sure he beefs up his security as I’d imagine the scrotes will be back in a few months hoping that the bikes they stole have been replaced with shiny new ones.

Quite a few unusual parts on there so keep a careful eye on Ebay and Gumtree, even if they split them there may be clues.

I have a Park Campag bearing puller, works just fine, most instances of them snapping are due to horrendously seized bearings or people not removing the circlip that holds the bearing in place, in which case the tool is designed to fail before it damages your posh Campy cranks. People are just more comfortable blaming the tool when they really should have RTFM’ed.

Either way it’s got the usual Park lifetime warranty too, so if I do ever snap it I’ll just get it replaced.

I don’t have any Campag equipped bikes ATM so if you want to borrow it get in touch.

It’s a pretty natural move, we like to ride bikes and not all of us are lucky enough to live somewhere close to nicely draining all weather trails.

Given the choice I think most people on here would rather ride thier MTB but at this time year I can’t bring myself to spend my precious leisure time slogging through knee-deep clay clag at walking pace, annihilating my drivetrain in the process.

There’s also a pretty strong commuting contingent of course.

I have a few ideas but this has to be a front runner:

Our Chariot Cougar runs just fine on my Cross bike with big tyres and mudguards.

The nipper’s still pretty small so we haven’t taken it off road yet and it hasn’t been hitched up to the 29er but I can’t see it being a problem, there’s loads of room.

Death To False Metal! that includes all bands knowingly taking the piss (including Steel Panther)

Truly daft metal should have no concept of its’ daftness and preferably be German.
