A few years ago I spent four weeks driving around California and Nevada. In the cities you had to have your whits about you but thats no different to driving in a UK city. The freeways were fine. Expansive and not overly crowded. The two hour drive home from Manchester airport (weekday afternoon) was one of the most unpleasant journeys I’ve ever had. I realised how impatient and uncourteous UK drivers can be.
You’ll be fine.

Tyre choice is the least of your worries if you’re eating food in Whitehaven :)

Cracking set of lights you’ve got there Motorman :)

Have a look at Vamos Cycling. They are based in Cadiar Spain. Run by an English couple who are lovely people. Perfect tarmac and beautiful scenery. Sarah is a hell of a cook and the accommodation is first rate.

South Tahoe is beautiful and the riding is fantastic. I recommend a hire car/van to get the most out of the area.

Had a half dozen pints of blond ale in the battle cruiser and am now eating pizza and onion rings from the takeaway. Bangers to follow……Happy Christmas everyone.

I hate the wind because it’s the only element I can’t see.

‘Empty Cans’ by The Streets is a great example of this. The first half of the track is all minor chords and downbeat in tone (lyrically also). Second half of the song is composed of the same chords only major rather than minor. At this point a wave of euphoria washes over me. A great end to a brilliant record.

I am technically inept.

My card has also been stopped within 24hrs of using CRC. Four attempts were made to spend £1 and another was for £15 with O2. Halifax noticed the irregular transactions and stopped further use of my Mastercard. I’d like to think CRC will address these problems accordingly.
